Rating: For this part, PG:13. As the relationship of Willow and Tara grows in this fic, So will the rating.

Willow sat alone in her bedroom, sitting at her desk, typing away on her laptop. It has been two years since she last seen Tara, the love of her life. (I wonder what Tara would think of this) she thought to herself, (Me, Willow Rosenburg, writing a book). Buffy stood in the doorway and she noticed that her best friend was deep in thought, "What're you thinking about?" she asked the redhead, who was a little startled because she didn't think Buffy was home. "Huh?, oh, I was just thinking about what to write next, I'm a little stumped." She then looked away to the picture that was right next to her laptop, it was a picture of Tara and Herself on their first anniversary, They were both so happy. "You were thinking about Tara again huh?" Buffy asked, a little hesitantly, she knew that Tara was a sensitive subject to mention to Willow. "Yeah, I was just wondering where she is, How she's doing, if she ever thinks of me. I know that I should just get over her and move on, But, I can't." "Will, it's understandable, really it is, you and Tara were together for a long time, so, It's going to take a long time to get over her. But, if it helps, I did come up here to talk to you about her, She was liveing in England with Giles, and she is coming back to Sunydale. Giles told me this morning." Buffy said to the redhead. "She's coming back?, like to visit, or is she coming to stay?" Willow said to Buffy. "She's coming to stay, She never really liked it in England and I guess she just decided that it's time for her to come back." As soon as the sentance left Buffy's lips, The door bell rang. "I'll get it, Xander said he was going to stop by today to fix my bookshelf, so it's probably him." Willow went to answer the door. "Tara?" Willow said in shock, she knew Buffy said she was comin back to sunydale, but she didn't know it would be so soon. Tara stood there in silence for a moment admiring Willow, She had missed her so much. "H..Hey, Willow." Willow gestured with her hand to come inside, "Uhm, come on in." Tara did just that. "So, How've you been?" Willow was nervous, shocked and happy all at once. "I've been good, very good, You?" "Uhm, I've been okay." "It...It's so g..good to see you again, you look lovely." (She thinks I look lovely, Yay) "You too." Both girls smiled at one another.

Hey there Lisa. I still don't have time to read fics, dammit, but I usually try to read the first part of a new fic at least, to get an idea what it is about.



I just want to suggest a few things about the lay out. I don't know how others feel, but I think it would read easier if you start with a new sentence when some says something, with one line blank in between, like this:

"She's coming to stay, She never really liked it in England and I guess she just decided that it's time for her to come back." As soon as the sentance left Buffy's lips, The door bell rang.



"I'll get it, Xander said he was going to stop by today to fix my bookshelf, so it's probably him." Willow went to answer the door.

And if you write a large piece without conversation, make sure to divide the text into paragraphs, makes for easier reading.



As for the story, this part is a bit brief, and things are happening rather fast, to get a better feel for a story and to get into it more, larger parts may be better I think. I'm interested to know what happened to make them break up. Before TR I could not imagine WT ever breaking up, I can now, but I can never imagine them not loving each other, no matter what. So I am curious.

You clearly have an enthusiasm for the characters and want to get to the nub of the story really soon. That's great, that you feel so motivated to bring Tara into the plot as soon as you can. However, in terms of pacing and plotting, it might benefit you to get a beta reader who will help you work out things like paragraphing and pacing, etc.

Thank you all for replying. I know that regardless to what you said, this starting sucks. Things tend to sound a lot better in my head. Well, I do have a lot of Willow and Tara fics written, but they stay away from the board. It would suck if people hated it. Well, All of your help is muchly appreciated and wanted, So thank you all. "So, did you like living in England?" Willow asked as her and Tara headed over to the couch in the living room and sat down.



"Um, Yes and no, I mean England is nice and Giles is such a wonderfull man to live with, he's like a father to me now, But, I missed all my life here in Suntdale." (I missed you most of all) Tara thought to herself. "So, How's things around here been?"



"Um, not bad I guess, I mean It's still a hellmouth and it's still not a grand idea to walk around alone at night, but aside from all that, not too bad." (It would of been a whole lot better if you were here.)



Buffy then came downstairs and walked into the living room. "Tara?, WoW, Giles said you were coming, but he didn't mention that you would be here so soon, How are you?"



"Hi Buffy" Tara smiled, "I'm pretty good, How are you?"



Buffy walked over and sat in the chair to face Tara and Willow, "I've been pretty good myself, Still working at the double Meat hell hole. Nothing much has changed with me, How about you? It's been two years, I want to hear all about your life in England." Buffy smiled at Tara.



"Well, I liked England, but it surprisingly, I enjoy liveing on the hellmouth much better, There's more action here than in England, plus I have all my friends here. Um, if it's okay, I'm really tired, I think I'm gonna head to a hotel and get some sleep, I just wanted to stop by and see how everybody is doind and to let you guys know that I'm, back." Tara said to Buffy.



"Hotel?, I thought you were back for good" Willow asked looking at Tara a little sad eyed.



"Oh, I am, But I haven't anywhere to live just yet, so I'm going to stay at a hotel untill I find an apartment." Tara said to Willow, reassuring her that there is no need to be sad eyed.



"A hotel, That's rediculous, Stay here." Buffy told Tara, not wanting her friend to have to pay for a hotel.



"You can take my room, I'll usually fall asleep on the couch anyways." Willow told Tara, wanting her to stay so badly.



"Are you guy's sure, I really don't want to be a burden to anyone." Tara asked both the women sitting with her.



"Of course were sure Tara, You're still like family you know." Buffy said smiling at Tara.



All three women were smiling, Tara headed up to take a nap, She had some Jet lag going on. Willow was smiling and mouthed a "Thank You" to Buffy, so that Tara could not hear her, Buffy smiled at her bestfriend and headed to the Kitchin.





I hope this is a little better than the 1st part, And don't worry, the break-up and everything will be explained eventually. Hope you liked the update.

Hey, I know I haven't updated in a long while, a lot has been going on. Well here is an update for those who actually like this fic. Again all thoughts will be in parenthisis, (like this) My Love goes to all.





Tara awoke 3 hours after she fell asleep in Willow's room. She slowly opened her eyes and pushed herself up on her elbows, and looked at the clock. 9:00 PM is what the clock read. ( 9 O'clock already, Man I've been sleeping for 3 hours) Tara slowly got up and opened the door and then headed downstairs where she found Willow sitting on the couch typing away on her laptop.



"Hey Will, What're you up too?" Tara asked as she sat in the chair across from Willow. Willow looked up and smiled. "Oh Hey Tara, I'm just working on this book I'm in the process of writing."



"You're writing a book?" Tara asked Willow a little shocked, She never knew the that Willow liked to write. The red head nodded. "What's it all about?" Willow then looked up to Tara.



"Well, basically, this book is just my fantasy life. I mean all the things that I wanted to happen in my childhood and all the things that I want to change from the past, I do in this book. Do you get it?"



"Yeah I get it, I think that's a great idea." Tara said to Willow, "I never knew that you liked to write."



"Well, I didn't either, But when you left and went to England to live with Giles, I was so depressed that I needed something to do that was extremely time consuming and that took my mind off of things for a while." Willow then looked back at her laptop afraid that she just mentioned a sore topic.



Tara looked down at her lap and played with her hands. "So, Where'd Buffy go?"



Never looking at Tara Willow answered, "Buffy went to work a late night at the Double Meat Palace, She'll be home around 1:30 if you need her for something."



"No, no I don't need her for anything, Uhm, Willow do you think we can talk, about the past that is." Tara looked up to see that Willow stopped typing and just stared at her laptop screen.



"Yeah, sure." Willow closed her laptop, but never made eye contact with the blonde girl sitting next to her.



"Willow, I want you to know that I never stopped l..oving you, and I only left because it was the best thing to do. I mean, Will, you took my memory, Instead of talking things out, you turned to magic." Tara then looked up at Willow with sad eyes.



"Tara, I know and I understand why you left. It's just that, I mean you didn't tell anyone where you were going, I was never able to say what I wanted to say to you after I got better and away from the magics." Willow looked at Tara.



"Well, You can say it now, I mean we're the only ones here so it's a good time to say what you need to say." Tara gave Willow a little half smile.



"I....I wanted to say, that I'm sorry, For everything. I should have realised that I was hurting people that I loved, and I should have listened to you. What I did to you was beyond wrong and I thought about it a lot, always wondering what the hell was wrong with me, that I chose magic over you, The only person that I ever really, truly loved. I ruined the best relationship that I have ever been in and I miss you. Everyday, I miss you." Tears began to run down Willow's cheek.



"I miss you too you know?, I miss everything about you and you know what really made me decide that moving back here was the best thing?...You, Us. I mean, I don't know about you, but I miss what we had, I...I understand if you don't want to try again, I mean I did leave you and you're problly seeing someone. and hey look, I'm babbleing, That's your job." Tara looked up and saw Willow smiling and Giggleing.



"I like Tara babble, and I would love nothing more than to try again, There's no one else Tara, there never was anyone after you, Didn't you hear me say that, You are my one true love, and you could never be replaced in my heart." Willow smiled and placed her hand on Tara's which was on Tara's knee.



Tara smiled a huge smile and said, "Coffee, Tomorrow, You and me, Sounds great, Well, I will leave you to your writing and head back upstairs for a while."



"No, No, I'm done writing for the day, Do You want to sit with me and watch some Discovery channel, That crazy Crocidile Hunter guy is on." Willow smiled at Tara.



Tara sat down next to Willow and smiled, "I love that guy." She said, and they sat and watched T.V. untill both of them nodded off on the couch.
