aimlet - here's the poem you asked for...what was it they said? ask and ye shall receive? eh, catholic school ever agreed with me...:p

disclaimer: ever sit there and watch the one you love and just let your mind wander? these are willow's wandering thoughts...

******************

Following my dreams

My path led to you

My goddess bathed in light

Unconditionally you give

I love you

Let me take the hurt

I love you

Let me take the tears

I love you

Let me be everything you need

On bended knees

I offer my reverent heart

Please let me be yours

*******************

thanks for reading as always...

Steph - I'm always struck by the expression, 'nothing is trivial' because it reminds us that every action causes a reaction, every place we go, leads us to the next. Every decision we make leads us to different people and I think your poem expresses that well.

Take care my friend :wave

Steph - I'll have you know that this pineapple is aging just fine missy.....thank you very much. Considering the twisted branches of my family tree, I have heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and senility to look forward to....where's the bad?

Believe me, it goes both ways my dear, it goes both ways. You have done wonders for my writing, so I suppose I should be thanking you for the motivation and the inspiration.

Postby funkyasian » Tue Dec 31, 2002 11:22 pm

happy new year!!!

i figure i'd ring in the new year with a new poem...hope you all said your goodbyes to the old, and ready to welcome in the new...

disclaimer: before willow and tara drift off to sleep...what do you think the sleepy exchange is like? :heart

********************

Eternity’s too short you said

Lazily I smiled, throwing my arms around you

Pulling you close, breathing your scent

Sweet musk mingling our love

Eternity’s too short, you said again

Silently I agreed

Sighing softly

Our fingers intertwine naturally

Together we drift off

Dreaming of forever beyond eternity

*********************

thanks for reading...and may this new year be happy and properous for you and your loved ones...stay safe and be well...

Hey Steph ... you lied .. there were 8 lines ;)

This was great. I'm always impressed at how you can put so much into so little. And because I must always quote my favorite:
Quote:
