1.1 Vergilius part 5
It was now a week later and Tara was very dissapointed she hadn´t met the redhead anymore this week. There were so many things she´d like to talk to her about. She couldn´t help herself, but everytime she was thinking about the beautiful redhead she was feeling all weak inside.
She was sitting in the café staring at her cup of coffee. The coffee they served here was really gros she tought. Tara´s classes were over, so she hadn´t had the foggiest idea why she was still sitting her at the café, but she didn´t feel like going home aswell. She stood up and just got herself another cup of coffee.
At the corner of the café there was a cute couple sitting and Tara couldn´t help staring at them, not to obvious of course.
She was wondering when she´d ever get the chance to be happy and in love with someone. She never had the chance to meet anyone nice, because of her father. He couldn´t stand the magic and other surreal thing let alone that she ever brought home a girl and telling her father that she liked girls, that she actualy was gay.
Tara had know she was gay for a couple of years now. When the girls at school were falling into guy after guy she just didn´t see what was so nice about them, but she would sure turn around if a nice girl walked by.
At first she thought she wasn´t into the boys because of her father bullying her, but know a lot of miles away from him she still couldn´t feel the interest in boys coming up.
She had her own life now and she could bring anyone she liked. That thought pleased her so much that a big grin was covering her face now.
She emptied her second cup of coffee but still didn’t feel like going home. Mainly because there was just no one there when she came home. Sitting over here she could enjoy the view of other people, but she now was kinda boring of staring at the couple in the corner. They were getting a little too sticky with eachother, so looking at that kinda embaressed Tara.
If she wasn’t feeling like going home she could just go to the library and do some homework over there . Altough she wasn’t feeling like doing homework aswell she grabbed her bag and went to the library.

Willow was walking trough the campus. Her classes were over now but she didn’t feel like going home, she had way to much energy to sit at home and stare at the television. She hoped that she was meeting Tara again this week but luck just wasn’t on her side it seemed. Every time she saw a blonde girl she watched carefully if it was Tara but it just wasn’t ever the case.
Willow walked along the stairs to go up to the library. She needed to do some history homework and maybe the pressence of the library would be a good use.
Willow settled down at one of the tables and started to unpack her bag. Her different colored pens were also there in case she needed to underline something important.
The first exercise was about the Viking-effect on Europe. Willow sighed with annoyance. Why on earth should she do research on the Vikings in Europe for god’s sake!
She hadn’t a clue about Vikings or Europe or let alone the effect they over there. She definitly needed books to complete this task.
She stood up and walked towards the bookcases. Within a few minutes she found a book that seemed useful to her. She grabbed the book and slowly walked back to her table. She sat down and started to absorbe the words written in the book. Like always she was instantly caught by the words and was fully concentrated to it.
She was so into it that she didn’t notice a girl walking straight to her.
Tara was sitting in the library for a while but she couldn’t find the energy to get her to work. She was just staring when she saw the redhead entering the library. Tara had hoped Willow would notice her but obviously she didn’t.
She saw the readhead stand up and her heart was beating like crazy. Did Willow see her and was she coming to her? She felt kinda dissapointend when she noticed Willow was walking at the bookcases. It was obvious the redhead hadn’t noticed her else she would have walked over, would she?
Tara decided this time it was her who needed to make the move. She stood up and started to walk towards the table where Willow was sitting on
“Hey!” Tara said
“Huh.. what?” Willow woke up from her concentration. “Oh hey sorry I was kinda into reading”
“What were you reading” Tara asked
“Well it is so not interesting, about Vikings and stuff”
“Ah you started your history exercises,” Tara noticed
“Yeah I did, how do you.. have a seat by the way, but how do you know it’s my history homework?”
“Well I have this same homework to be done,” Tara couldn’t help but smirk at the look Willow got on her face right now.
“What! So you’re in the same year as I am then?”
“It’s my first year here, so yours too?” Tara asked
“Yeah I’m new... I mean it’s my first year aswell Wow! I can’t believe it. How come we never met in class before?” Willow just couldn’t believe it. She had actually more in common with this girl that she knew of
“I don’t have a clue Tara said I guess I’m in another group then you are, this campus is so huge. I got lost the first time I got here and there are so many students.”
Willow suddenly remembered the coupon that was still in her pocket. She opened her pocket and grabbed the coupon.
“I uhm... have somthing I have to give you” Willow was suddenly feeling like a ten year old girl showing a drawing to her parents. She gave the coupon to Tara.
Tara stared at the coupon, she had absolutly no clue what it was about.
“So uhm... I guess you like coffee?” she said doubtful.
“I do but... no I mean... the other side of it” Willow said confused “You need to turn it around”
“Oh”Tara said as she turned around the coupon “Oh!” she exclaimed “It.. it’s your adress” she said a little more calm now. She got Willow’s adress! The girl gave her her adress she was so happy. “I’m glad y...you gave it to me” she told Willow “Do you have a piece of paper for me?”
“Yeah sure I have!” Willow eclaimed she ripped a piece of paper out of her notebook and gave Tara a pen.
Tara started to write down her name, adress and phonenumber on the paper. As she was finished she shove the paper back to Willow.
“Here you go now we’re even, you can call me anytime!”
“This is so cool!” Willow said “Maybe we can look at the book some time and maybe try some spells from it. I mean I can’t do it by myself but maybe you... you can teach me.. if...if you like”
“Of course I like” Tara replied “When do you have time? I’d love to see through the book sometime and I’d love to teach you some more things”
Tara suddenly got scared of her reaction. She was being a little pushy here to make an appointment with Willow. What if the girl wouldn’t want that. But here doubts were taken very quick by Willow.
“Well what about tonight? Maybe we can off to have a drink at the Bronze? To get to know eachother a little more?” Willow asked
“Tonight is perfect!” Tara exclaimed. “Only what is the Bronze?
“You don’t know the Bronze?”Willow exclaimed “The Bronze is the coolest place in Sunnydale... well actually it’s the only place in Sunnydale, it’s not super special but it’s ok to hang out sometimes. They play nice music and a lot of people dancing”
“I like going out with you” Tara said softly almost whispering her words “B...but can w..we maybe go some place more quiet? T...then we... we can t...talk better” Tara started to stutter again, because her doubts were overwhelming. Would Willow like her proposal of going somewhere more quiet?
“Quiet is good” Willow responded “You are absolutely right, the Bronze is not exactly the place to talk and get to know eachother. I kinda forgot that, sorry.”
“N...no it’s ok don’t worry” Tara said. “Do you know a place where we can go then?”
“Uhmm I... the Bronze is kinda the only place in Sunnydale to go out to” Willow didn’t have a clue where they could go to to have a nice talk
“Well...” Tara started to hesistate, should she ask this to Willow? She decided to risk it. “Maybe y...you l..l..like to come over to my place? We...we could watch tv or r...read the b...book?” She looked at her shoes waiting for Willow’s response, she sure hoped that she wasn’t being to direct in inviting someone over, but she’d love to have someone visit her for kinda the first time in her life.
“Oh!” Willow exclaimed. “I’d love to come over, great idea, what about 8 o’clock? Is that ok with you?”
“Eight is great!” Tara responded.
With that line both girls started to giggle.
“Eight is great” Willow repeated
“It rhimes” Tara said
“Yeah!” Willow bursted out in giggles again “Rhyme is good”
Both girls were laughing out loud and they kinda forgot they were in a library, where you supposed to be studying and remain silent.
“Hey! You two” A guy yelled at them “Can you please either shut of just go away!”
“Whoopsy” Willow said, trying to keep her giggles down
“Big whoopsy” Tara smiled at the redhead in front of her. “I think I’ll just go then, I didn’t feel like doing homework anyway.
“Yeah, same here” Willow nodded. “Death to the Vikings!” she exclaimed
With that Tara started to laugh again “You are so funny!” she said to Willow. She noticed the guy who was yelling at them before watching in their direction again. “I really need to go now, before someone is going to kill me” she glanced at the guy.
“Oh yeah I’m off here to, negative atmosphere now”
The girls grabbed their bags and left the library as soon as possible. When they closed the door behind then they started to giggle again.
“I... I’ll see you tonight then” Tara said
“Definitely” Willow answered giving the girl a wide smile.
