Sheila and Ira think that the egg was transplanted from Willow and that Tara just carried Bri. I think. Although I've been known to be wrong!

Molly,

That is right.

Shelia and Ira think the egg came from Willow and the sperm came from one of Tara's cousins. Tara was the surrogate mother.

I can't to read when they found out what REALLY happened. Sounds like to me that Shelia is still in denial about Willow's sexuality anyway. I think Ira is more upset that Tara is not Jewish.

Brianna is so damn cute. Don't underestimate 4 year olds. They are bright and they know what is going on. Lisa your write this like you have kids of your own. Well..I still would not let my little one practice with a sword, but he does know his herbs and spices thanks to his mommy!

Can't wait for more.

Lisa... WOW!

Postby Jennpurr » Wed Sep 11, 2002 9:48 am

Hey girl,

Okay, I'm tardy with my feedback, but I did read the update.

I thought the scene between Brent/Tara/Diana was very touching. Brent and Diana fighting over who gets to hold the baby. :lol That was very cute. You know, I don't really have much of a problem with Ira. The only thing that pisses me off about him, is that he won't stand up to Sheila and say what she is doing is wrong. I hope maybe he will come to his senses and eventually put his foot down and stand up for our girls. :pray

Brianna. What a wise child she is for her age. I was a little scared, till she called for defense from the guardians. Sheila's line to Brigh at the end was funny. To bad she can't show that damn woman how much a babysitter she is not. Grrr... :mad I like how Ceri took Sheila offguard, too, by snatching Brianna away from her.

I'm wondering how you will handle the coming out, so to speak, of Megan and Brianna both being Willow and Tara's children. I can't wait to see the reaction of both Sheila and Ira when they find out. Hope that will happen soon...:pray I'm kinda worried about what might happen when they find out though. I just don't see how there is anyway that a court would rule against Willow and Tara though. I don't know.

Absolutely loving this, Lisa. Can't wait for more. :)

More, soon?? Please??? :pray

hey lisa,

even though the thread's been quiet for a few days (this is NOT me hassling you), I wanted to tell you that yes, your revisions of the naming issue were very well executed. very believable! the only minor technical issue left was that you chose another name beginning with M for willow's grandmother, so sheila doesn't really

have the right to complain, and they could just say that megan WAS named for her, even if she wasn't. and, as far as "nana," I think that's really your call. it could go either way. if you were looking for something more...ethnic, or what have you, "safta" is the hebrew word for grandma, and "bubbie" is the yiddish.

rock on, O great one!

Lisa,

I hope you'll have chapter 8 up soon..I think we could all use a fix right now, especially after getting the bad news from the Buffy magazine concerning Amber..My only response was to send out a new round of e-mails and let it rip..I 'm angry right now, very angry..I can't think of a time when a group of loyal and dedicated fans were treated with such cruelty and contempt..It makes you wonder how they could have even created Willow and Tara to begin with....

Chapter 8 is up!

Postby Lisa of Nine » Sat Sep 14, 2002 12:33 am

Hello all,

first, I am so completely and totally behind on feedback that I can barely show my face in this thread. I am so sorry. Please do not think my tardiness with the replies means I don't appreciate your feedback. I read each reply and they mean the world to me. I'm so far behind now it makes my brain hurt.

So...

I will post the next chapter and run. ;-) I need some sleep and I will work on replies tomorrow. I have been spending my free time writing, so at least I have a chapter for you.

Enjoy, and thank you SO much for all the support.

thank you Lisa. Much needed , I definetly needed to know that Willow was doing alright, and at least she is, kind of.

Tara nodded in agreement "She has magic fingers." Then, as though the words had just echoed back to her and sounded not at all right, she perked up and glanced around at the others. "On the keyboard."

Lisa,

Great update!! I think we needed a lil angst free update! I'm glad Willow is doing much better! I'm also glad she got to see Megan! And Brianna just gets cuter n cuter! :)

I knew Will would be outraged w/ wut her mom did! I'm really wondering how this lil meeting between them will go down! I think it will be very interseting! I'm kinda lookin 4ward to it!! Hopefully Sheila will get an ear full and I hope Willow won't be easy on her cos Sheila deserves every single thing that comes her way!!

Can't wait 4 ur next update!! :)

Truthfully, Lisa, I would rather that you concentrate on your studies and on your writing than worry about not replying to feedback. But that's just me :)

Heh heh, can't wait to read about Willow confronting her mother. And Tara being the protective mother bear that we all know she is... this is just wonderful, Lisa. I always have to read your chapters at least twice through the first time round and then when I run out of stuff to read, reread your stories again and again. I never get bored.

I totally agree!! I don't respond so you'll respond back...I respond because you write some kick ass stories!! I am glad that Willow is okay.....but I am still sooo confused about the custody thing. Don't Willow's parents know that Tara carried Brianna? Soooo....technically (uh, if it weren't for magic) Sheila and Ira would have no biological claim to Brianna. Anyway...they are stupid stupid stupid people! I hope they learn their lesson! I just wish Willow were well so she could give it to her mother properly...:D Anyway, thanks for the update!!!

That was amazing! So entirely worth the wait. The contrast between Protective Tara and nurturing Tara was awesome. I was breathless as the scene started and my heart was racing. Absolutely Brilliant!!! :clap

Quote:
It was difficult to look menacing when her breast was hanging loose.
The entire breast feeding scene between Tara, Bri and Megan was so on target. The innocence and curiousity lathered with Tara's loving tenderness. I could see every scene unfold. This was a wonderful update.

BRAVO :clap

I have so much more to say but I'm just speechless. You have captured this family and created a wonderful world for them. Keep it up! Can't wait for more.

I agree - Lisa, don't worry about taking the time to respond to all the feedback. We appreciate the effort, but we know it eats into your studying and writing time.

I've been waiting on pins and needles for this update and it was super! I loved so much about it - the reunion scene between Tara and Bri, Bri seeing Tara breastfeed, Willow waking up, Willow learning what Sheila did.

I laughed out loud when Tara told Ira that Will's reaction was going to be worse than hers. More evidence that he doesn't know his daughter very well.

And Brianna is such a sweetie - what a great kid. They have such a beautiful little family now. Looking forward to seeing where you're taking us now that Megan is here. Now I'm off to read it again. Thanks! :)

Oh that was a great update Lisa, protective Tara was wonderful to read and her mage powers have kicked in which is pretty impressive. Poor Brianna being worried about getting in trouble, she's such a sweetie. Oh and Willow is so going to kick her mum and dad's butt, should be fun. I hope Willow and Tara explain a few things to Willow's parents, oh and I obviously don't like Shelia but there are things that Ira does that really irks me as well.

Heh, Brent barking "report" at the guards has made me picture her as Janeway. Yeah I know I've a strange head.

Tara with the fire in her eyes, protecting her children. Pity Sheila couldn't have seen that. She deserves to be terrified!

Bri asking about the breastfeeding, she definitely has Willow's enquiring mind.

Willow certainly surprised Tara with her reaction to Sheila's attempted abduction, but I think Willow, more than anyone, knows that Sheila can be very narrow-minded and that it will be difficult to get her to see sense.

Thanks Lisa, yet another brilliant chapter.
