Aine: Thanks, I'm glad you like it...and cool bannana...
sam darls: Yup, poor Willow; that's the burden of having needy friends...Thanks for reading!
Here's the update...and uh...the angst is coming, so uh grab a helmet!
**************
“Hey” Willow said as she entered her girlfriends’ room; coming up behind her and embracing her girl. “Hey, you” Tara said turning in the embrace to give her girlfriend a kiss hello. “Well, it’ll be time soon” Willow said her face the perfect image of dread “Will…sweetie it’s not an execution, I’ll come back you know.” “Well why do ya hafta go anyway?” ‘Mmn…Willow-pout’ “Because having two homes is one of the perks of the wonder that is divorce…and I only get to see my dad one week out of a month.” “I know I know, I’m being all childish and a bad girlfriend and…and I should be all strong and supportive; so from now on no more whiny-Will…but ya know when you come back you’ll owe me a week’s worth o’ Tara-kisses.” “Mmn, that’s a lot of kisses.” “Yup, 97…I uh…sorta calculated.” Tara giggled, “That’s my lil Willow-Whiz.”
“So, how’s your dad been doing, I mean uh I know about well, I know he’s had some problems and…and I’m being all nosey I’m sor- “its al right Will, and he’s been doing a lot better, he hasn’t been drinking for almost a month now…I’m really proud of him.” “Good. That’s good.” Willow didn’t want to admit it…didn’t want to admit to having…doubts, about this whole thing. She knew, more or less, what type of man Donald Maclay is…no not is, was, because people change…sometimes, and sometimes people appear to have changed but really they’re the same exact person just with a certain amount of restraint that could easily run out and…’and sometimes paranoid redheads who are way overprotective of their honeys jump to wild crazy conclusions and should really stop this whole train of thought…’

She’d been surprised when she’d seen Tara’s dad, he just seemed so…cold. It’s not the way he acted or anything he said, in fact he had actually been quite nice. It was just the feeling she got around him; he just seemed so detached from everything and his eyes were always darting from one place to another as if he was expecting something…but not in a nervous way; you could tell whatever it was he was expecting he was ready for. It was just such a classic villain appearance…she wondered if Tara could tell. She was smart and insightful…incredibly so, but she didn’t seem to catch it. But people tended to be blind when it came to the ones they cared for, especially someone as caring as Tara. How could someone that warm and caring come from someone so…’enough Will, there’s no reason to not trust him and if Tara does then I do too…’

when she gets back, that has to be good.
I don't like that she is going to she her dad who has supposedly been 'sober' for a month.
I see not good things to come.
