DIBS again go me!
Hi
Thanks for the crown although I think I'll only consider myself that when I get Dibs on Neverland (I was sooo close today damn it!).

Where's your brother from?
Lovely double date apart from Lucas dropping the Love bomb. I'm intrigued to know if he meant to say it or not. I mean did he just get caught up in the moment seeing W/T lovey dovey or has he been thinking about it for a while. It's interesting, I wonder if we will be seeing the girls helping them through this. From Tara's reaction I'd say yes she has a heart of gold!
One of my favourite lines ever, a very Willow thing to say but also a powerful statement of her intention to be with Tara forever.
I loved it, can't wait for more

WOW![]()

Becky...Lucas...who?
*squeaks out* thank you for the update

I loved their way of spending the night...

Awesome and amazing update as always. I sense that Willow and Tara might need to keep it down a bit.
Glad you enjoyed it!YAY new College Confidential

I would have thought that Becky would have understood the value of practical volunteering for future work purposes so why call it bogus.
Like Becky's 'boys' reference suggesting that Willow acts as much a male as Lucas does. Though Tara clearly doesn't appreciate the joke. Then again Willow is a hot chick
And I thought that Tara liked girls in the nude. Or at least a certain redheaded, green-eyed girl
Tara wiggle YAY
Ooh, relationship problems and not between our favourite girls but their friends. I'm guessing Lucas won't be around for much longer.
That said it's nice to see the girl with relationship fears as opposed to the male which is usually the norm in other fiction or even from Hollywood.
I thought Lucas said that he 'loved' Becky so why does she say 'dropped' or is there something that I'm missing?
Good for Willow and her smarts for knowing to get out of the restaurant before the argument explodes fully.
It just struck me with Becky refering to Willow as a boy, there are other W/T stories where Willow refers to herself as having the body of young boy. Or at least a young boy with boobs and a vagina
YAY, Willow and Tara awesomeness

Ok Laragh ok, you finally broke me with all this hot monkey sex

What???? Come on, Willow and Tara cannot be the only people who are having noisy sex in their dorm. And isn't that a sign that it's good sex-when it's noisy????
Another awesome chapter though the fight between Becky and Lucas cast a dark shadow over the putt-putt golf game (c'mon girl, he only said he loved you) but hot steamy sexiness between Willow and Tara make the story all better. YAY for hot, steamy Willow and Tara sex

I have been very remiss in not posting any feedback to date on this fic. First I went back and read HC and FC before jumping in. On those I can say I lived in Erie, PA for a decade and I wish I had your version of winter on the Great Lakes - so much milder than reality.
(although I may just include it when I continue FC now!)Now that I have read and very thoroughly enjoyed HC and FC (angst and all - I thought the shocker in HC was brilliant and actually swore out loud when I read it), I'm diving in to CC. It is really fascinating to go back and see how W/T ended up where they were at the start of HC and how their experiences in college helped them grow into the individuals and the couple you originally introduced.
I've also found gaining insight into Becky, especially in this last chapter, to be intriguing as well. She, as an individual, shows a great deal of growth from college through your entire story arc.
Reading about the girls being in the dorms brought up a lot of memories for me of my first year in college when I was using the cafeteria and living with a roommate in a dorm. Lucky Charms breakfast cereal and fries were pretty much the only guaranteed edible food and everyone tried to sneak out snacks for later. Small details like the food, getting a noise violation, etc. make the story so much more authentic without weighing it down.
Since I am catching up on so many chapters, I have a question about camping in the park in Boston. Is it actually possible to do that? I loved the scavenger hunt ending at the park bench and the tent so they could sleep under the stars was brilliant but almost expected a brief police interruption for camping without a permit or something.
In reality you would need a permit if even allowed at all, but I suspended the disbelief for the sake of storytelling (And had Willow find a sneaky hidden spot to use as an excuse if anyone called me out)Anyway, I love the Confidential series and am really enjoying reading the college years right now.

YAY UPDATE!!!

guess I'll have to go back to stalking you LOL.Dibs-y goodness...
Yay for great update-y goodness... Big yay for Willow & Tara being there for Becky...

YAY new College Confidential, possibly the most awesome fanfic ever

You put Tara's wiggle in the last chapter just for me YAY. I love you so much for that Laragh that if I were a girl I'd ask you to marry me and now I realise that I sound like a complete pratt

I'm guessing that this is taken from the scene during season 6 of Buffy when Buffy breaks down in Tara's lap after revealing that she's been sleeping with Spike.
The conversation between Tara and Becky is a huge step forward for both of them. For Becky because she's confiding in someone who, whilst a friend, isn't Willow whom Becky has known longer. For Tara because she's has gotten over her timidity and shyness and is talking with a friend and being the comfort and support that Willow normally provides which shows how much more used to each other they are.
Reading Tara's advice to Becky, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Everyone deserves a friend, partner or sister even like Tara Maclay
Interesting reading about Becky and how she personally blames herself for her parents divorce and believes she deserves to be punished which begs the question what was her own family life like? Does it resemble Tara's in any way in that she was brutalised or neglected by one or both parents or made to feel that she should be a victim. If so this would make sense of Becky not being used to have someone tell her that everything will be alright.
This puts me in mind of another Willow/Tara story--The Rebuilding of Tara Maclay by True_Love aka Lexi (I think, I'll double check and PM it to you.) There is a scene in one of the chapters where Tara and Willow's friend Amy are having lunch and Amy tells Tara about her experience as an abused child. Definitely worth a read as it's one of the few that I really enjoy and can nver wait till the next chapter is up.
The conversation between Willow and Becky appears to be just as deep with Becky telling Willow that she's brave for giving Tara power to hurt her and Willow responding that that isn't love. Love is trusting them not to hurt you.
I wouldn't call kitten claws as being cute, they're all sharp and scratchy and pointy and ouchy. Believe me I've been on the receiving end enough times.
I'm guessing that that is the bond that Becky finally found with Jesse in FAMILY
(Jesse was with Alice). It's true though, and also how they got together has a lot of basis in what she's learning here (the slow burn, become such great friends that a great relationship follows)Wow, what a great chapter this was; possibly one of the best in the story going into some great detail of what had happened after the previous chapter and the effect it had on Becky as well as how certain events in her past life have affected her. Definitely you are worthy of being crowned queen of Fanfic writers.

:banana YAY UPDATE!!!
I loved the update and the sweetness and support Tara showed Becky.
I have to agree that large amounts of junk food is needed for break ups!

Hi Laragh

I have a friend in Wollongong who I went to visit a few years ago. I loved it there, so peaceful and beautiful.
)No dibs for me this timeguess I'll have to go back to stalking you LOL.
A sad update its of course disappointing to find out Becky cheated but it was lovely to see the girls rally around her.
So glad Willow got over her little jealousy at Becky asking for Tara.
I love Willow but Tara is definitely more of a nurturer.
Great job again on the update, looking forward to the next one.

let the sexiness begin
She is such an innocent.

I've never had a break-up, but I know copious foods help with other traumas!
“They’re those short, hairy things from those really long movies you made me watch, right?” Tara asked.

Dibs-y goodness...
Yay for excellent update-y goodness... Aww poor Willow freaking out due to a storm... Big yay for Willow finding Tara to comfort her...

YAY new College Confidential

I found it interesting reading the response to my feedback from last time. Becky sounds like she's had a home life very similar to Willow's with the emotionally absent parents, but also one like Buffy's with the father who left her, Joyce, and if you include her Dawn.
I'm also guessing that Beck got her attitude towards relationships from her mother parading new men-friends that she would presumably drop if they ever dropped the 'L' word on her.
I didn't for one moment conside it to be one of those have-to-get-out-of-the-way-chapters. To me it was an important part of the story showing how these three very individual girls became such good friends, particularly Tara and Becky if you compare the two now to how they were when they first met with Becky innocently teasing Tara who felt awkward and a bit of a third wheel in the relationship between Becky and Willow.
YAY Tara's buttlet the sexiness begin

I love Tara's description of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy as those really long films lolShe is such an innocent.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha this is hilarious

Willow does bring up a very good question, Does Tara have any riends outside of Willow and Becky. I do recall that there was that girl who tried to take Tara from Willow making Will go all Hulkalicious on her butt. Apart from her however does Tara have any friends from her classes?
Wow, I've never seen Willow so scared of anything before, afraid yes but terrified no. I'm assuming that the section in italics is from when Willow was a little child and is where her fear of thunder storms comes from.
I understand her fear for Tara wanting her girlfriend to be safe but couldn't she also contact Becky? She does only live in the flats above so doesn't have to far to come to be there for Willow.
Love the link that Willow and Tara have with one another so that Tara can just hear her name being hollered by Willow but it's enough to get her attention, despite the distance between them.
First helping Becky get over her relationship troubles and now comforting Willow over her fears and telling her how brave she is after Willow dared to go out into her worst nightmare, afraid for her girlfriend. Tara is definitely proving herself to be the mother figure here.
More nice smut but you didn't break me this time lol

Never having a break-up is an amazing feat!! I'm jealous!
That made me laugh out loud!! I am also on Willow's side - pudding is a much better choice than an apple.
I felt bad for Willow for being scared by the storm, but I was glad she found Tara and they made it back to the room safe and sound. All I can say for Tara's 'warm up' method is![]()

As always thank you for the awesome update!!
Hi Laragh

Alas, Neverland hasn't been updated in a little while.
I LOL'd at the "I love you pudding" that happens to me a lot, saying love you to the dog or cat.
Awww so sad for little Willow in the flashback no wonder she's afraid of storms now. Very nice inclusion which brought about an absolutely beautiful and tender scene at the end.

This is by far one of my fave chapters so far. Loved seeing it go from vulnerable Willow to brave Willow facing her fear all for Tara then to the girls making love and pouring every ounce of themselves into one another.
)Really great job with the writing it was all so natural I loved it![]()

See you on the next one, hope I can get dibs again!
Sitting here with a Blue Moon beer on a quiet Friday night (happy Pi day everyone!) I realized I hadn't posted any feedback from the last couple chapters.
Becky had one hell of a hard life growing up lesson and a lot of personal insight with the whole mess around her reaction to Lucas saying he loved her. Broken people can do broken things and in Becky's case that was really obvious as she flamed her relationship with Lucas in such a spectacularly bad fashion.
I particularly loved reading how Tara handled Becky with now accusations and the right amount of support, advice, and quiet strength. I would harbor a guess that is the first time anyone in Becky's life has ever treated her that way.
Tara and Willow supporting Becky through her breakup heavy emotions was a really nice scene to read. That was a fantastic view of what true friends can do for one another. The next morning with Becky observing how Tara and Willow interact even in their sleep and how they so completely match one another was very sweet and powerful. Overall in this chapter you did a great job of filling out Becky as a three dimensional character. She is flawed but still very likable and now more understandable.
For the previous chapter we see Willow at a very vulnerable point. This is a nice counterpoint to Tara's panic attack during the whole Mia incident. Both Willow and Tara have personal demons, damage, and scars from their childhoods.
I have known individuals who are terrified of thunderstorms. Fear at that level has no logic to it at all just like anxiety (an unwelcome friend of mine) often lacks logic as well. There is usually a basis for it but not a logic to it.
In this case Willow's powerfully negative childhood experience has caused this illogical reaction to a common thunderstorm. This is especially powerful as Willow is a logical person and someone studying neuro psychology no meaning at any other time she could give a perfect explanation to her panic but in the moment the panic, anxiety, and fear ruled. I love that her love and concern of Tara overrode her fear of the storm to the point that she went out looking for Tara. Still not the most logical choice but it shows that love is trumping an old fear.
Tara's care for Willow was very sweet and the chapter ended on a very nice note.
I look forward to the next chapter and the continuing saga of the college years.

I'm looking forward to the next update!

Dibs-y goodness...
Yay for great update-y goodness... They sure did have nice time... Can't wait for the rest of the celebrations...

Another fantastic update!! St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday. I loved all the tidbits about the holiday and the Irish. I have a mild obsession with Ireland and seeing all that just made me smile!!
:balloons I'm looking forward to the next update!
YAY new College Confidential

Laragh, I may be a perve over Tara's ass wiggle but let's face it, she does have a sweet caboose
I know the date Mar 17th but are you sure about the day? We had it on a Monday.
A big yay on Tara not letting her past hold her back and going to the parade with Willow.
Loving Willow first showing off her braininess with all the 'facts' about St Patrick and then her childlike excitement at hearing the parade.
Now this I would love to see lol.
As Amber herself once noted in an online film 'guys like girls with curves'.
Willow and Tara; a couple so awesome they get food and drink for free.
Tara being such a tease when Willow says she can't eat anymore.
Such a great, light hearted chapter after recent drama's with a little sauciness from Tara and sweet Willow/Tara loving. Just why I love them both so much.

I would have thought that maybe Becky had had a hand in it somewhere as she has a tendency to lead Willow astray.Dibs-y Goodness...
Yay for excellent update-y goodness... I really liked their celebrations... I really loved how Tara made Willow feel better after her surprise...

Fantastic update and celebrations!

I love how Tara tried to make Willow feel better about her surprise.

YAY new College Confidential
Got pretty scared when the KittenBoard suddenly vanished from the internet :(
but at least here at Xita.org we have a temporary base to post on

Don't worry Laragh, I won't let Will catch me. I don't want my favourite redhead going all dark and veiny on me lol.
Only a few lines in on a new chapter and already it's hot and steamy smut ahoy. Not that I'm complaining mind
Shakin that ass, shakin that ass lol

LOL Loving Willow's shamrock shaved into her pubic hairs, just wonder how she got it done without Tara finding it in the first place ,sneaky Willow![]()
I would have thought that maybe Becky had had a hand in it somewhere as she has a tendency to lead Willow astray.
I'm really surprised by Willow's attitude to her shaven pubes as she's usuallythe more brazen of the couple. Icould easily picture herleaning back on the bed and showing it off in all its glory while Tara gently strokes it
It's nice seeing Willow thinking about her future with Tara.
I'd like to think that Tara would be the Disney Princess. Princess Tara has a certain ring to it.
How cool is Tara having herown hair strimmed into the shape of a heart. Once again she proves herself best girl friend ever, and one with a great sense of humour.

Another amazing update! Fantastic and creative use of the Oreo's.
Poor Willow still hasn't lived down the Long Island Iced Tea situation. I have to say that I feel her pain, there are a few Long Island Iced Tea situations I'd love to live down as well. Damn dangerous drink.
