Part Eleven
Willow sat at her desk preparing all the things she would need for her classes. So far the week had been great. Things at home were almost ready for the arrival of the twins. The new carpet for Jesse's room was being installed today, and tomorrow they would be moving her things in. Xander built her a huge bookcase in celebration of becoming a big sister. He was going to come over on Sunday and help assemble the baby furniture, as she still hadn't figured out how to do it. Things at school had been good too. Just one more day and she would be able to relax without worrying about a practical joke from Buffy. Last time she ended up covered in feathers and spent the rest of the day picking them off herself. Buffy had insisted she had matured and there would be no jokes, but something about the way she said it made Willow skeptical.
"Morning, Will," Buffy said popping into the classroom.
"Morning," Willow said looking up from her lesson plans.
"Been a good week, huh?"
"Yes," Willow said suspiciously.
"What?" Buffy asked.
"You're up to something," Willow said.
"I am not. I told you Monday, no jokes," Buffy said.
"Yeah, right," Willow said.
"Aren't you glad next year I'll be full time at the middle school," Buffy said.
"You have no idea how glad," Willow said.
"Are you still going out tomorrow night?" Buffy asked.
"Yep."
"Who'd you get to watch Jesse?"
"One of my students," Willow said.
"Is that going to be a problem? I mean the principal told you not to flaunt your sexuality in front of the students," Buffy said.
"Well, this student already knows, and I really dislike that rule," Willow said. "I'm not going to hide Tara."
"I'm not fond of it myself," Buffy said.
"Shouldn't you be getting to your room?" Willow asked noting it was five of eight.
"You don't trust me," Buffy said as the warning bell rang.
"Exactly," Willow said as students started to file into the room.
"Mrs. Rosenburg?" Georgia asked coming into the classroom at the end of the lunch period.
"I'm back here," Willow said. She was sitting in the back of the classroom trying to repair a broken computer. One of the students had placed it in a loop so that it was flashing obscenities. She was trying to crack the passwords and barriers so she could rewrite the code.
"I kinda forgot your address. I was wondering if you could write it down for me," Georgia said.
"Sure," Willow said covering the screen and moving to her desk at the front of the room. Willow sat down at her desk and opened the top drawer to get a pen and a piece of paper to write on. When she opened the drawer she saw a rather large, bright pink dildo on top of her writing utensils. She quickly closed the drawer before Georgia saw anything. She opened the other drawers of her desk a crack to check them and sure enough they all contained various dildos. Buffy must have snuck in when she went to the cafeteria to purchase her lunch.
"Is everything okay?" Georgia asked.
"I'm gonna kill Buffy," Willow said. "Oh, I'm sorry. Miss. Summers pulled a joke on me again. Do you have paper and pen?" Georgia handed Willow the pen and paper.
"1616 Revello drive," Georgia said. "I don't know how I forgot that."
"Hey, it took me two weeks to remember my phone number when it changed," Willow said.
"You want me there at 5:30 right?"
"Yeah, we should be home by ten," Willow said.
"Okay, I'll see you then."
Willow walked through the kitchen door and dropped her bag on the floor. "Remind me to kill Buffy," she said hopping onto a stool at the island.
"What did she do?" Tara asked.
"She filled my desk with," Willow looked back over her shoulder and saw Jesse coloring at the kitchen table, "d-i-l-d-o-s."
"Did anyone see?" Tara asked laughing.
"No, and it's not funny," Willow said.
"Yes it is," Tara said.
"I could have gotten fired if the principal saw them," Willow said trying not to giggle.
"What did you do with them?"
"I mailed them to her at Brett's address, and I used the Gap as the return address so she would assume it was a gift from him, and hopefully open it in front of him," Willow said smiling.
"You do realize the next time you work together it will be twice as bad," Tara said.
Willow was in the bathroom wrapped in a towel, with another towel wrapped around her hair trying to apply her make-up. Jesse was sitting on the counter beside her asking her what everything was and what it did, when she heard the door bell ring.
"Tara can you get that? I am so not ready," Willow said leaning out of the bathroom and into the bedroom where Tara was completely dressed, brushing her hair.
"Sure, Sweetie. You need to hurry, we're going to be late," Tara said. She headed down the stairs and opened the front door to see a nervous Georgia standing there fidgeting with her shirt. "Come on in," Tara said moving aside.
"I'm glad I got the right house," Georgia said.
"I was just about to heat up some left over lasagna for Jesse, did you eat yet?" Tara asked walking toward the kitchen.
"No, I was late getting home," Georgia said her nerves fading. She was worried that their house wouldn't be like the others she'd been in, but it was homey and nice, and it was hard to do anything, but relax in it.
"Would you like some?" Tara asked.
"Sure, thanks."
"The emergency numbers are on the fridge, as well as Willow's cell phone number, if you have any problems," Tara said placing the food in the microwave. "This is going to be Jesse's first night in her new room, if she forgets, her room is upstairs at the end of the hall to the left. She should be in bed by eight, if she doesn't get tired before that."
"Okay," Georgia said.
"I'm just gonna run upstairs and get Jesse," Tara said placing two plates of lasagna on the island.
"Tara," Willow yelled. "Is that Jesse's dinner?"
"Yes," Tara said rounding the corner into the bathroom. "You're not dressed yet?"
"No, but my hair is fixed."
"Come on, Jesse, let's go eat dinner," Tara said.
"Hi," Jesse said sitting next to Georgia at the island.
"Hi," Georgia said.
"You're Georgia," Jesse said.
"Yep."
"Did you know I got a new room today?" Jesse asked.
"That's really exciting," Georgia said between bites.
"It's purple and messy because we just put all my stuff in it," Jesse said. She had yet to eat any of her dinner.
"Jesse, eat. You can talk to Georgia when you're finished," Tara said pouring Jesse a glass of apple juice. "What would you like to drink? We have juice, soda, water, milk, I think that's all we have."
"Juice is good," Georgia said.
"Momma, I don't like this," Jesse said poking at her food. "It has gross things in it."
"Remember the ice cream we bought?" Tara asked and Jesse nodded yes. "No ice cream unless your lasagna is all gone."
"All of it?" Jesse asked.
"All of it," Tara said.
"Do you leave your dishes in the sink or rinse them and put them in the dishwasher?" Georgia asked.
"You can just leave it in the sink," Tara said.
"I'm ready," Willow said coming into the kitchen in a pair of jeans and a tight fitting long sleeve tee shirt. "Hi, Georgia."
"Hi," she said turning to look at her teacher. "You look really different than you do at school."
"I hope so," Willow said. "You ready?" she asked Tara.
"Yes," Tara said. "Bye, Jesse. We'll come in and kiss you goodnight when we get home," Tara said kissing her daughter.
"We'll bring you back some movie candy," Willow said giving Jesse a kiss. "We'll be back by ten."
"Bye," Georgia said.
Tara sat next to Willow in the movie theater fairly bored. She knew she shouldn't have let Willow choose the movie. Tara looked over at her wife who was completely engrossed in the sci-fi flick, she looked so cute. Her forehead was crinkled in concentration and every now and again she would cock her head to the side as if she could understand it better that way, adorable. Tara reached over and placed her hand on Willow's knee, drawing little circles with her forefinger. She inched her way up Willow's thigh until her hand was almost touching Willow's center. Tara glanced around the theater and every one's eyes were on the screen, including Willow's. She pushed her hand into Willow's center causing her to jump out of her seat a bit. When she landed she turned and looked at Tara, who had an innocent look on her face.
"Enjoying the movie?" Tara whispered.
"I was until I got distracted," Willow whispered back.
"Do you want me to be good?" Tara asked.
"No," Willow said pulling Tara up from her seat and dragging her out into the bathroom.
"I hope Georgia doesn't ask about the movie," Willow said as she and Tara drove home.
"You saw the whole first half," Tara said with a smirk.
"I forgot how horny you get during the last few months of pregnancy," Willow said. "Not that I'm complaining. Quite the opposite actually."
"If we didn't have to get home, I'd suggest you pull the car over right now," Tara said rubbing Willow's thigh.
"But we do, and I'm driving," Willow said putting Tara's hand back in her own lap.
"Play later?" Tara asked.
"Most definitely."
"Assuming of course that Jesse doesn't want to sleep with us," Tara said.
"I think we should start to put our foot down about that, and not just because I need to make love to you tonight," Willow said.
"I agree. Once the twins are born she won't be able to, so I think we should start now," Tara said.
"I hope I can. I always cave when she gives me those sad puppy dog eyes," Willow said pulling into the driveway.
"You can be strong," Tara said. "One of us has too."
"How did everything go?" Willow asked Georgia who was sitting in the family room watching television.
"Good. We put everything away in her room. She said she likes to be organized. I've never seen a four year old with a calendar, and she went to bed around 7:30," Georgia said.
"Do you need a ride home?" Willow asked.
"Yeah, that would be great," Georgia said.
"I'm gonna go up and check on Jesse," Tara said.
"I'll be right back," Willow said giving Tara a quick kiss. "Don't forget about playing," Willow whispered.
"I would never," Tara said.

"Well, gee, then he must have meant it because guys never say anything they don't really mean, do they? They say I love you, and you think it's true. They say, oh Anya, I want to be with you for the rest of my life, and you believe them. You believe they feel the same way about you because that's the way love's supposed to be, right? And then you get all excited with the tingly anticipation, but wait, not so fast. There's the apocolypse, and the back from the grave, and the blah, blah, blah, blah, and by the time you're finally standing there in that beautifully expensive white dress, you dreamed about ever since you became human, he gets all heeby jeeby and decides you know I'd rather just go steady."
