I'm not sure what's bigger than a THUD, but I think you just got one.

Absolutely loved this, just sad it's over. But then, probably just as well for the sake of my health!

Huge kudos, Triscuit!

kittens, you are all wonderful!

Thank you ever so much for stroking my ego; there are days when it really, really needs it. Working retail, even in a bookstore, can suck so much, but this week I've had a smile (a real one) on my face every day and it's great that it's not because I've channelled Anya while I'm counting the money...

(Sorry, I don't dance, no rhythm...., I just bounce a bit)

Areslei - I don't quite know where the Willow-sicle image sprang from, but it did occur to me at work last week. Made the rest of my shift....interesting. l don't know if there will be Tara-sicle in my next fic or not - right now I'm thinking....no, sorry, you've got to wait, but I promise it will be fun and it won't be too long from now.

Jennpurr - I hope you read it and read it and read it. And it's fine, if after each reading you end up curled up around my feet. And snuggles rule before, during, and after....

Leatherqueen - "Damn we're good." I hesitated for an entire day on whether or not to include that line. In umm, similar circumstances, I might say it, my partner would definitely say it. I just wasn't sure Willow would say it....but I guess it worked.

Thanatopsis - I'm very glad you enjoyed the imagery. Needless to say it was a lot of fun to write.....my partner wants me to do one now that might involve some "research".

AutumnT - I wanted a title that would immediately identify the time and setting of this fic. A line from the Nether Realms spell seemed to do the trick....inother words I didn't initially connect the text with the title. By the end of writing Ch 2, the connection was irrevocable in my head.

Xita - You like math? I never would have guessed....

Kieli - A thud and a bonk - you did have enough pillows this time didn't you? Thank you very much.

DarkWiccan - Slides a very soft pillow under your head. Shhh, everyone, DW is resting now. Whispers, thanks.....

Mike of the Nancy Tribe - There will be more....not an update to this, but something related. Go rest now, please.....

damn! wish my first time with a girl had been like that too... not that it didn't end being like that eventually as the relationship progressed but for a first time... wow... certainly tops the truck.

"She has magic fingers." Then, as though the words had just echoed back to her and sounded not at all right, she perked up and glanced around at the others. "On the keyboard." Tara, The Wisdom Of War...

Jennpurr, first she's not the jealous type and second, she was reading over my shoulder when I was checking posts this a.m. and it is very much an okay. Curl away... each and every time you read it.

Rane - I'm very glad you enjoyed it. First times are rough which is why I started them off sort of angsty: did we really do that? does she care about me? does she know that I love her, how much I want her? Gods, I remember that and it's been 18 years! And I was soooo dense.....

And as for the bed stuff, well, we can dream.

Question? Tops the truck? Obviously you mean it was good and that you liked it but....needing an explanation here.

Jennpurr - Hope you had fun, again!

Ever since finding the Kitten board, I've had so many keyboards melted from the heat. An' geez there goes another one. I had to wait for it to cool off just to disconnect & replace it. Luckily I've learnt to keep a reserve stack on hand. :smokin

This whole story is..... de - liteful and yummy, can't forget yummy, and.....

I also just wanted you to be aware of how many other SPELLS there are and, you might feel that it is your duty to, you know, warn us all of the side effects of said spells.

I'm writing, I'm writing! Had a whole eve set aside and instead I'm looking at Amber and Aly pics...no harm there surely but it's slowed me down a bit. My partner approves of the new fic so far.....

And I'm trying to figure out the avatar thingie - no website yet.

I did "fix" the email thingie in my profile.

BethanyB3 - I'm dreadfully sorry about your melted keyboard, but glad you had a spare.

dekalog - I understand the truth about need and want unlike "you know who" (& I don't mean Voldemort) and I find myself thinking increasingly nasty thoughts about him. BTW Python much?

MurasakiS - Whew! was pretty much what I was feeling while was writing it....

Rane018 - I'm interested; expect an email.

Tommo - Flippy, floppy can be very goood....

Kieli - I don't know what to say except I warned you and, and, and I know that you know the proper use of pillows since you've watched "Who Are You?" ummm, 20 times(?). They're for thudding into and arching.... Hey, you made me thud myself!

*****

The River in Me is not my first fanfic (smutfic?); it's the first all of my own.

My first resides over in Blue Athame 1's The Solution AKA Ride Him Like A Pony. I took up her challenge and wrote an ending. It's near the end of the thread and it's entitled "Goats". It's not smutty, it's revenge-y. After revelations of this weekend at Toronto Trek, I'm thinking I let them off too, too lightly..... Oh well.

I did read each section separately at first. However, I succumbed and printed it off to read all in one go. What can I say :confused ?? Frankly nothing that hasn't already been said. Wonderful fic.

I have had so many cold showers my whole body is wrinkled not just the fingers :lol

Well that sounded better in my head :blush

Looking forward to future fics.

Hi' y'all - as always thanks for reading and especially thanks for the feedback. It helps to know that I'm on the right track and since I wanted to make things hot, well the number of thuds, whews, phews, ohmys, all would seem to indicate success!

Yay!

ensam - Hi Down Under! May I simply say that after a week of days when the temperature has been 90+ and the humidity has been dreadful (normal Philadelphia summer), winter sounds glorious. Anyway, I'm glad my fic warmed you up....

Mix - In one sitting? I didn't even write it in one sitting - you're very, very brave...

Nutty Girl - Wrinkled fingers are good, aren't they? I'm a soak in the tub girl myself, so I've been there with the wrinkled everything too.

Kieli - Okay, ex-Phillygirl, yeah, I thudded myself, but I had just been looking at concrete's caps of the Nether Realms spell. Now I dare you not to thud when you look or even think about lovely Willow are slick with sweat falling sooo slowly back onto the pillow, her back arching, her breasts straining upwards, her lips parting as her head tilts back....(and you don't hear that soft moan, but you remember it sooo well). So did you thud or not? I did again, but I missed the keyboard.

Jennpurr - My partner's evil and knows my every weakness... not a whole lot more to say except - bearing in mind that I'm semi-married - while I'm writing with you curled around my feet, would you like a tummy rub?

(Now I've made myself blush, a regular occurrence I might add.)

Ciao, Triscuit7

Silly thought: Why do we refer to it as "wrinkled like a prune" when prunes are dried fruits, the exact opposite of our situation?

EX-Philly girl?!! Hmph! I'll have you know that I am still a Philly girl...just stuck here in this backass state ;) Didn't have pillows but a futon...will that do? :grin Heh, the first time I saw the Nether Realms spell, I damn near fell outta my chair. Diana looked at the screen, looked at me, cocked an eyebrow and said, "Hmmmmm."
