CHAPTER ONE: SURPRISE!!



"So, when's Tara gettin' home?" Buffy casually asked her best friend.



"Not until day after tomorrow," Willow pouted.



"She's been gone a while, hasn't she?"



"Ten days....and we've never been apart this long before. That damn gallery keeps her way too busy!" The exacerbation in Willow's voice was palpable.



"Hang in there Wil," Buffy sweetly answered, trying to comfort her somewhat distraught friend. "How about a beer?"



"Yeah...That sounds good...Thanks!"



Willow was beside herself missing Tara; missing just being with her; missing her kiss; missing touching and loving her. When she closed her eyes, she could smell her lover's breath and taste her sweetness. Just thinking about Tara made the red head so turned on that she thought she was going to explode. Shivering, she brought herself back from thought; knowing that the blush across her face betrayed her.



Walking up to the bar, Buffy was surprised to see a familiar face.

"Tara?!" Buffy exclaimed.



"Hey Buffy!" Tara greeted the petite blonde; a little flushed and winded.



"When did you get in?"



"Just about an hour ago, and I rushed to get here so I wouldn't miss you guys. Wil told me you'd be here tonight."



"I Thought you weren't coming home for another couple of days?"



"Yeah, me too, but I finished up early so I changed my flight."



"Well! Wil's gonna be ecstatic."



"How's she been?" A hint of concern in the blonde's voice.



"Pretty much mopey...she's missed you big time."



"I've missed her too," Tara softly replied, slightly blushing. "More than I ever thought possible."



"Well here...have a beer on me and take this one to Wil. I'll just wait here for Anya and Xander, so you two can have some alone time."



"Thanks Buffy," Tara sweetly responded.



Taking a generous drink of her beer, Tara spotted Willow across the room and instantly felt a wave of warmth envelop her body. she thought to herself. Her heart racing with excitement, Tara walked up beside Willow and set her beer on the table...



"The blonde at the bar asked me to give this to you." Tara announced.



"Hunh?" Willow questioned and turned; a smile instantly crossing her face. "Tara?" she whispered, as if she didn't believe what she was seeing.



"Hey sweetie!! Surprise!!"



"Oh my goddess Tara..I can't believe its you!" Willow exclaimed as she stood and took her lover into a tight embrace; both kissing each other over and over again.



"How?" Willow breathlessly asked, breaking their kiss and gently caressing her lover's face with her fingers.



"I finished up early and took an earlier flight," Tara lovingly responded; completely lost in her lover's captivating green eyes.



"Oh Tara...I missed you so much!...You were gone too long...Don't do that again!" The red head playfully scolded.



"I won't, I promise" Tara reassured as she tucked a lock of Willow's hair behind her ear. "Next time I'll take you with me....I missed you so much I ached...I can't stand being away from you; not touching you," Tara's voice now merely a whisper.



"Dance with me Tara...I just want to be holding you now."



Kissing Willow lightly on the lips, Tara nodded "yes" in agreement.



Taking her lover's hand, Willow walked to the dance floor and placed her hands on Tara's hips beneath her calf-length black leather coat. Meeting her lover's gaze, Tara draped her arms over Willow's shoulders; both instantly and completely lost in each other as they gently swayed to the music.

"I love you so much Tara," Willow whispered just before leaning in and kissing her lover on the mouth; Tara's lips parting to receive the red head's soft warm tongue.

Deepening their kiss, Willow wrapped her arms around Tara's waist and pulled her closer; both now completely oblivious to everything else around them; tongues exploring...tasting...savoring...devouring...remembering; as their bodies moved together in perfect harmony.

"What's wrong Wil?" Tara asked, sensing the tension in her lover's body.

"Come with me," Tara whispered seductively into her lover's ear.

Taking Willow's hand, Tara quickly lead them upstairs. Hurridly scanning the balcony, she lead Willow to a darkened corner and quickly pinned her against the wall with a deep, passionate kiss; her body pressing hard against her lover's; her thigh pressing into her center.



"Tara, what?" Willow gasped, breaking their kiss.



Placing one hand against the wall next to her lover's head; allowing her coat to shield them, Tara reached down with the other and firmly took hold of the waist of Willow's jeans.



"Do you want me Willow?" Tara practically demanded as she undid the button of her lover's pants.



"Oh goddess, Yes!" Willow moaned; her body collapsing into the wall. "But, here?"



"Yes!" Tara hungrily whispered; gazing intently at her lover as she unzipped Willow's jeans and began stroking just inside the elastic of the red head's panties with her index finger; feeling Willow tremble beneath her touch..."Unless you want me to stop," Tara continued, daring Willow to challenge her.



"No..I don't want you to stop," Willow whispered; completely enraptured.



"Then spread your legs for me," Tara seductively commanded as she slid her hand inside Willow's panties and gently stroked between her legs; her fingers instantly drenched in Willow's juices; feeling the red head's legs open and welcome her in.

"So...you're okay?" Tara continued, seeking reassurance as she gently caressed her lover's face with her thumb.



"Oh goddess yes baby!!" Willow reassured her; sensing worry in her lover's voice. "You were amazing!!" Willow continued, the hunger and desire resonating in her words.
