Areslei - So happy you liked the b/day update.

Glad you liked the band camp line and Victoria's secret. I did contemplate having a scenario with the manager but i think it turned out okay.

and big YAY for vixens
MissQuirky - Glad you loved it.

The band camp line and the Victoria Secret confrontation with Anya were just to irresistable to resist.
Okay the next part is a little more serious than the others but i'm not in the mood for a cliffhanger yet so all loose ends are tied up here i think.

A bit of sibling rivalry in this part so i hope you enjoy. Without much further ado...

Part 20 double dating delight“Awww, look at how cute they are together.” Anya said to Tara, looking in the direction of Cordelia and Donnie necking on the Maclay lounge suite.
“Cute, I thought Willow and I were the cute ones.” Tara replied almost pouting.
“You were, when you were in your honeymoon stage, but you’re beyond that now, your like Xander and I, just you know…” Anya retorted.
“No I don’t know, I can’t understand how you can rate that… stuff cute over Willow and I. Were double cute I tells ya.” Tara spat out angrily.
“Look Tar, I thought you were okay with them dating, it’s been a while now.” Anya said defensively
“I am, I’m just peeved you don’t think Willow and I are cute.” Tara replied, keeping her upset tone in tact.
“You are, just not honeymoon cute. How often do you and Willow just sit around and make out while were around?” Anya asked to her friend.
“All the time, last night, playing cards, you remember when Xander wanted to play strip poker but we laughed at him because he’d been sitting there watching us make out and we thought he might be too up for it.” Tara made sure Anya didn’t forget the graphic details.
“Oh yeah, bad example. Anyway I still say they’re cuter.” Anya said in a huff, refusing to budge on the subject.
“How can you say that, we’re the embodiment of cute, we’re the cuteness that invented cute.” Tara argued for her side.
“Oh come on Tar, even Buffy and Angel are cuter when we actually get to see them.” Anya replied which seemed to knock the wind out of Tara’s sails.
After a moments silence after conceding that she wasn’t going to beat the cheerleader this time, Tara spoke up again.
“What is with that, I mean I know he goes to college and all but we hardly see them together. I mean they don’t have that much sex do they?” Tara asked a bit confused. Anya just shrugged her shoulders at the thought.
…………
“You know we are officially no longer the cute couple?” Tara put to Willow as she, Buffy and Xander walked through the front door of the Maclay household.
“What how can that be? We’ve always been the cute couple” Willow said a little dismayed at her girlfriend’s allegations.
“That’s right Will, the mantle has been passed on.” Buffy stated from next to her.
“There is no way you and Angel are cuter than us, we hardly ever see him.” Willow turned to her best friend whom her statement was directed at.
“Not us, them.” Buffy stated as she pointed to the couch where Donnie and Cordelia were still making out, oblivious to the ruckus being made around them.
“Well they are kinda cute together.” Willow softened in her approach as she watched them tongue wrestle.
“WILLOW!” Tara said in dismay to her girlfriend.
“Sorry Tar, but they are kinda cute, I mean they got the forbidden love thing happening you know, with the best friend and the brother.” Willow tried to reason around it.
“Hello gay here.” Tara was trying to contradict Willow.
“Fine you two are the cute ones.” Buffy added in trying to bring a sense of sanity back to the conversation. That seemed to appease Tara and Willow smiled as well once she was that her girlfriend was content.
Cordelia and Donnie finally broke for air and both noticed the sense of tension in the air. They both assumed it was coming from Tara and her uneasiness of seeing them together. They knew she tried hard but it still seemed to wig her out a bit.
“Are you okay Tar?” Cordelia asked softly.
“Yeah, yeah fine.” Tara said from her chair as she cuddled in next to Willow who had plonked down next to her.
“Holy cow, Cordy are you ready we’re gonna miss our movie if we don’t get a move on.” Donnie stated as he glanced the time on his watch.
“Crap I forgot about that, here just let me grab my coat and we can leave.” Cordelia replied as she got up and made her way over to the coat rack.
“Were are you going? I thought we were spending the night in.” Asked a confused Tara.
“We have a date, you don’t mind do you Tar?” Donnie said apologetically.
“Mind, why would I mind, in fact why don’t Willow and I come along, you know like a double date.” Tara replied rather happily. The blonde’s remarks caught Willow a little of guard and her eyes lit up in shock.
“Tar, I really haven’t had time to get ready, besides I thought we could you know, stay here an snuggle all night.” Willow replied, trying to find a way out of what would be an uncomfortable situation.
“Will’s right Tar, it might be a little uncomfortable for everyone, maybe we should give it a miss.” Donnie added, sounding none to enthused.
“Nonsense, really I don’t mind what you and Cordy get up too, I’ll probably be too busy myself you know.” Tara added a wink for extra emphasis. Tara’s sudden mood change left everyone a little bit stunned.
“Okay I guess you’s could tag along, if you don’t mind.” Donnie replied, more than a little apprehensively.
“Great then it’s settled, a double date it is then.” Tara smiled happily. “Let us just freshen up, we’ll be ready in a jiff.” With that she got up pulling Willow with her as they went upstairs to get ready.
………………
Tara’s first conundrum came just outside the front door. She didn’t trust Donnie driving, yet she didn’t want to be stuck up front while Donnie and Cordelia made out in the back. Truth be known she wanted the back seat so she could have a little make out session of her own with her girlfriend. Finally it was decided that Tara would drive her car and Donnie would take the front seat. It upset Willow and Cordelia that the sibling rivalry was costing them time with their partners. Willow was doubly pissed, as she never sat in the back seat of Tara’s car, except for the few times they frequented the drive in.
The drive was silent all the way, no one was happy with the seating arrangements at present but Tara was sticking to her guns. They pulled up at the double meat palace for a meal before catching a movie.
After they ordered their food, they slipped into the seats, Willow and Tara on one side and Donnie and Cordelia on the other. Donnie and Tara sat opposite each other, each glaring at each other as they ate their meals. Without notice Donnie turned around and brought his lips to Cordelia’s as they melted into a passionate embrace. Tara was rather shocked at the move and did likewise with Willow. Willow was caught completely off guard as she still had a piece of her burger in her mouth when Tara’s closed around hers.
Tara and Donnie were eyeing each other out the corners of their eye. They both spotted each other and doubled their efforts on their partner’s lips.
After a few breathless moments Willow pulled back to compose herself as Cordelia did likewise. “I’m gonna use the bathroom okay.” Willow announced to the table as she got up to head for the toilets.
“Wait up Will, I’ll join ya.” Cordelia replied as she also got up and quickly followed the redhead into the ladies room. Donnie and Tara stared each other down, neither giving the other an inch.
“Why are you doing this Tar?” Donnie finally broke the silence, “You’re not still against the whole me dating Cordelia thing are you?” He asked, trying to get some clarification on what was happening.
“This has nothing to do with you dating Cordelia, and what am I not allowed to make out with my girlfriend whilst on a date.” Tara replied smugly.
“Well if you want, there’s just no need to see who can land the most passionate kiss on their girlfriend, seeing you look at me while you’re making out with your girlfriend is kinda a mood killer, no offence.” He stated to his sister.
“Yeah well you started it, thrusting your tongue down Cordelia’s throat like that, I’m surprised you didn’t suffocate the poor girl.” Tara pouted this time.
“Yeah well at least I let her finish eating first.” Donnie replied as Tara slumped back into her chair defeated for now. She looked at her watch, wondering what was keeping their dates.
……………
“Are you getting a totally weird feeling from this date?” Cordelia asked Willow as they stood in front of the mirror, fixing themselves up.
“Totally, they’re being all brothery and sistery, with a huge emphasis on the rivalry.” Willow replied, splashing a little water over her face.
“I know, I’ve not seen them like this for years, I thought they outgrew this stuff while they were away, obviously not I see.”
“Kinda makes you glad you’re an only child huh?” Willow looked sadly at Cordelia as they both wished, deep down that they could share a sibling rivalry with a brother or sister.
“So have you and Donnie decided what you’s are gonna do next year or have you not thought that far ahead yet?” Willow asked.
“Well we haven’t really talked about it, but I’m staying here for college next year so, it shouldn’t really be a problem.” Cordelia replied, they kept making the small talk, hoping that by the time they returned to their seats the tension would have eased somewhat out there.
They both made their way back out to their seats and were disappointed that the tension remained thick in the air. However the rest of the meal went without too many more dramas except for the occasional odd stares between Tara and Donnie. They eventually made their way back out to the car and this time Donnie made sure he took the back seat with Cordelia. Willow was happy to get her front seat back and Tara grumpily accepted the new seating arrangements.
During the drive Tara kept glimpsing into the rear-view mirror and always saw Cordy and Donnie in a make out session. Her frustration grew each time she saw it, but all she had to do was look at Willow who always offered her a loving smile and it always seemed to ease the tension around her considerably.
They pulled up at the movie theatre and Willow and Tara exited the car. Donnie kept making out with Cordy in the backseat and didn’t pull away until Tara opened his door and glared at him. He smiled up at Tara as he scooted out and pulled Cordy behind him, leaving Tara standing at the car holding the door open, he turned around and said over his shoulder, “Thanks sis.” As he and Cordy went to line up.
Tara huffed her frustration at her brother and slammed the door shut, rocking its hinges as she power walked over to the ticket booth. She walked over to where Donnie was waiting and got in behind him. The lady behind her decided to vent her frustration.
“Excuse me young lady, I believe I was in line first.”
“Yeah it’s okay I’m with these guys.” Tara pointed to Donnie and Cordelia, Willow just smiled up at the old lady.
“Excuse me miss, I’ve never seen you before in my life.” Donnie turned around and stated to Tara. Tara was left open mouthed and turned to look at the old lady who was not impressed. Not wanting to cause a scene Tara took Willow’s hand and moved to the back of the line. Donnie grinned at himself and got a smack on the arm from Cordelia for his troubles. He was left rubbing his arm as he received his daggers from Tara who was standing about six or seven people back now.
“I can’t believe he just did that.” Tara pouted to Willow, who was still holding her hand.
“I don’t know what’s gotten into you two, but you better work it out soon, you’re driving me crazy and well I can’t officially speak for her but I don’t think Cordy likes it either.” Willow said to Tara.
“What do you mean me, you seen the way he was in the car, and in the line. He’s being a total jerk.” Tara added defensively.
“And you’re being miss civilised over here I see.” Willow replied with a mock frown on her face.
“Just let it go Tar, lets go in and enjoy what Mike Myers has to offer.” Willow smiled at Tara, and got a small one in response. They purchased their tickets for “Austin Powers II – The Spy Who Shagged Me” and walked into the cinema after also getting a medium popcorn to share and a small coke each. They looked around for Donnie and Cordelia and found them already in a make out session in the crowded cinema. They hadn’t even bothered to save them a seat so Willow and Tara made their way a few rows back.
With the large amount of people around they resisted the urge to get into their own make out session and instead simply slid their hands into each others. Tara snuggled her head onto Willow’s shoulder and they began to watch the movie. Tara was starting to have a good time, forgetting about everything that had happened before, she was snugged up next to her girl and watching one of the funniest movies she could ever remember.
Tara then caught a glimpse out the corner of her eye and saw that Cordy and Donnie were still kissing rather passionately. She tried to refocus on the movie but instead always found herself being distracted by the couple a few rows down. She threw a piece of popcorn at them and got Donnie right on the nose.
The couple broke apart and look angrily up at a smiling Tara who just waved at them before returning her attention to the movie. Her attention was short lived as she felt a piece a popcorn crunch into her cheek.
Tara had a look of shock on her face now as she looked at the giggling boy and the not so amused Cordelia sitting next to him. She returned fire with her own piece of popcorn and hit Cordelia and Donnie with the one shot. She giggled to herself at her good aim but this time got a double whammy from both Cordy and Donnie thrown back at her.
Willow noticed that Tara’s head had strayed from her shoulder and she pulled her attention away from the movie to notice Tara involved in a popcorn fight with the couple a few rows down. Just as she turned her head, she copped a piece in the forehead. She looked down at the couple giggling and felt her own sense of frustration starting to build. Next Willow did something totally out of character, she wiped the few stray pieces of popcorn that were gathered around her seat that she hadn’t noticed before and angrily yelled out.
“Do you guy’s mind, some people in here are actually trying to watch the movie.” Willow said out aloud to the applause of the rest of the cinema. Tara, Donnie and Cordelia slunk back into their chairs, completely embarrassed, “and rightly so” Willow thought to herself.
The rest of the movie went without much of a hitch, Tara had tried to grip Willow’s hand but found the redhead unco-operative. After the movie was complete Willow stormed out to the foyer and waited impatiently for the others. They finally made their way out, all looking rather ashamed.
“Take me home please Tara.” Willow said, on the verge of tears.
“No sweetie, I was stupid and I’m sorry please let me make it up to you.” Tara pleaded as she gathered the redhead’s hands in her own finally.
“No Tara, you totally embarrassed me in there and all night you’ve been acting all weird. I want you to take me home until you get whatever it is that’s in your system out.” Willow replied angrily.
“Will, no please sweetie, I promise, I’m sorry, I was an idiot. Let’s go to the bronze and you know we’ll let our hair down and just have some fun please. I promise I’ll be good.”
Willow looked at Tara’s pouted face and slowly crumbled, the blonde had that sort of effect on her, and she knew she couldn’t resist.
“Okay fine, but no more being stupid okay?” Willow finally relented.
“Yes, great, no more stupid I swear, it’s all gone I promise.” Tara smiled and hugged her lover as they walked out of the complex.
“So I guess we’re bronzing then.” Donnie stated as he walked behind Willow and Tara with Cordy.
“Looks like it.” Cordy replied as they reached Tara’s car.
…………..
With the same previous seating arrangements, Tara was holding her end of the bargain nicely, it helped that Donnie and Cordelia were still a bit shocked that Willow had done what she’d done in the cinema and were not ready to push any buttons just yet. Tara kept peeking looks over at Willow, sending little smiles but didn’t get much of a reply from the redhead. She knew she was in trouble and was gonna have to do some serious digging to get herself out of this one.
Tara made her way over to the bar to get some drinks while Willow made her way to the usual seating area. Donnie and Cordelia went straight for the dance floor.
Tara returned with four cokes and placed them on the table. “Where are the other two?”
Willow pointed out to the dance floor where Cordelia was sliding her body up against Donnie’s. Tara felt that jealousy start to rise again, but she pushed it down, remaining calm for her love’s sake.
They sat there just drinking their cokes, not saying much as the next few songs played through.
“So where’s this dancing you promised me?” Willow asked, finally breaking a smile. Tara smiled in response and held out her had.
“Right this way my love.” She replied as she led the redhead out to the dance floor.
Their unconventional dancing technique made for interesting watching for anyone willing to look as arms flayed about in all direction.
Finally after three songs of hard fast music, the temp slowed down as a slow number came on. Willow started to walk back to their table but was stopped by Tara who stood fast in her position.
“Come on baby, I’m tired after that, I just wanna sit down.” Willow said to Tara as she continued to try and make her way over to the table. Still Tara held her in place.
She had seen Cordelia and Donnie instantly move in and embrace each other and start a slow dance and she knew that, that was what she should be doing with her girl.
“Please sweetie, just one more dance.” Tara pleaded and pouted that face that Willow found hard to refuse. Of course Willow buckled and stopped trying to move for the table.
“One more and that’s it?” Willow clarified.
“One more, I promise that’s it.” Tara smiled happily as they embraced and started dancing in slow circles.
Tara rested her head on Willow’s shoulder as they danced and smiled dreamily. She locked eyes with Donnie across the room and she watched him rub Cordelia’s back and smile at her.
Tara repeated the action on Willow and smiled back across the room. “Mmmm that’s nice baby.” Willow murmured, totally unaware of the interaction between Donnie and Tara.
Donnie started moving his hands over Cordelia’s body and Tara found herself showing that she wasn’t afraid to match him. Hands ran all over their bodies, from the hair, to the back, right down to their asses were caressed in the little number.
Willow was loving the attention her body was getting from Tara’s hand’s during the dance piece and pulled her head back to look into the blonde’s eyes. Much to her chagrin she caught Tara looking over her shoulder in the direction of Donnie and Cordelia and seen Donnie doing the same movement with his hands over Cordelia’s body. Willow being the smart girl she was put two and two together and quickly fled the dance floor. She picked up her possessions and made her way outside, Tara quickly followed behind.
“Willow wait!” Tara yelled as she ran after Willow out the exit of the bronze. Willow didn’t even head for the direction of the car and decided to leg it. She walked a steady pace and refused to stop at Tara’s command.
Tara finally caught up to the rather quick redhead and turned around in front of her. Willow kept walking so Tara put her hands on Willow’s shoulder to make her stop. Willow however just brushed them aside and kept walking.
“Will please, stop.” Tara said as she stopped flat in her tracks. Willow noted and kept walking a few more paces before coming to a stop and turning around and facing the blonde.
“You promised, you promised that this stupid little thing you and Donnie had going tonight was finished and you lied to me. You looked me straight in the eye and lied to my face.” Willow said rather distraught.
“Will, I had a meltdown tonight, a total meltdown that’s all.” Tara pleaded with her lover.
“You’re telling me, it started at the house acting all wiggy, then at the palace, lets not forget the movies and now at the bronze. Tell me Tara, what is it, what exactly it is that’s making you act this way.” Willow replied rather angrily, tears threatening to explode over her face.
“It’s just you look at Donnie and Cordy and they’re always over each other. We were like that and now.” Tara tried to reason, she just wanted things to be like they were. “It just feels like you don’t want me any more.” Tara was nearing tears herself.
“Tara there’s a perfectly good reason why we’re not like that any more. Donnie and Cordelia, they’re in their honeymoon period where they need to be touching each other. They need to feel each other to be happy. We’re past that Tara, I can sit in a room and just look at you and I’m instantly as happy as I could be. The touching and feeling is nice Tara, but it’s not everything in a relationship. It’s as much emotional as it is physical.” Willow explained to Tara, narrowing the distance between them until they were about a foot apart. Willow had taken hold of the blonde’s hands by now.
“So this means you do still want me?” Tara asked hopefully, letting a wry smile escape her lips.
“Of course I do silly, my life is a million times better with you in it and I want to keep it that way.” Willow replied, her tone was now a soft caring one as the distance between them continued to close.
“Really?” Tara asked in her same hopeful tone as she looked into the pools of green only inches from her. Willow smiled and cupped the blonde’s cheek softly, caressing it with her thumb. She leant in and planted a soft kiss on the blonde’s lips, then another and another. The last, she opened her mouth, letting Tara’s willing tongue find it’s way through the resistance as they shared a passionate embrace. They kissed for what seemed like forever. They finally pulled away, gasping for air as they smiled up at each other.
“Really.” Willow replied to Tara’s question.
They made their way back over to Tara’s car, hand in hand. They noticed Donnie and Cordelia waiting patiently by the car as they had come out to wait after Willow had taken off. They were glad to see the content look across the lovers’ faces as they walked hand in hand to the vehicle. To Donnie’s surprise, Tara walked up to him and dropped her car keys in his hands.
“Are you sure?” He asked a little confused, but excited at the prospect of driving his sister’s car.
“Totally.” Tara replied to her little brother as she looked in Willow’s eyes before holding the backseat door open for her.
TBC…
Okay Tuesday will probably be the day for the next update.

If there are any only child kittens out there that may wonder why such a nice relationship as Donnie's and Tara's could turn into what it did, believe me it happens. It's what makes having brothers and sisters great, and at the end of the day you only love them more for it.

Anyway till next time its goodnight, though when you read this it'll probably be early morning for you so yeah, i'm off to watch my new Austin Powers 2 DVD i got for my b/day so cya later.
Cheers
