Well, I'm shy AND a computer geek, so the way this poll is worded, I'm a bit of both. But to me, the main difference between Willow and Tara is in how they deal with their emotions, and how they present themselves to other people.



Tara strikes me as a very guarded person. She doesn't talk very often, and when she does, it's because she has something important to say. It takes a great deal of trust for her to open up to others. She also doesn't let her emotions rule her actions; she's not going to lose her temper easily, and she thinks carefully about something before she does it.



Willow, on the other hand, babbles incessantly and has less of a problem saying what's on her mind. Forming friendships with others comes naturally to her; even as a "shy nerd" in high school, she was always very friendly and open even with the popular students. She can also be quite impulsive, and at times she lets her emotions get the best of her. (For example, when she's hurting she tends to lash out at people.)



In terms of Meyers-Briggs personality types, Willow would be Extroverted-Feeling (E_F_) while Tara would be Introverted-Thinking (I_T_).



In this respect, I am MUCH more like Tara.
