Disney pulls on the heart strings through connection. From the romantic, platonic and familial love they show. Stories of change and growth in a coming of age tales. A fight against powers of unfathomable strength yet their Death Star vent hole is mostly a determined girl with character progression.

But the intrigue, the mystery, comes from objects. You know if a character is bad from their arrogance to dark shadows towering their scheming form, compared to vibrant colours skipping through fields of flowers and friendly wildlife. Not wasps, wasps aren’t friendly. Beauty and the Beast you have a rose not only as symbolism but as a countdown. in Snow White the innocence of an apple is poisoned. Cinderella sets off a kingdom wide search for forgetting her glass slipper. Which is inappropriate footwear full stop, let alone being on the dancefloor for hours. Forget stepping on Lego when you’ve got a glass heel penetrating your Achilles. Disney did install a Princess weakness!

These objects of intrigue help form the connections that have been established or are yet to come. Yes the slipper kept the Princes connection with Cinderella going but the intrigue of who she was couldn’t be proven without it. Because no one has the same footwear size apparently.

Tarot card - Depending which one could lead to different significance but also its magic and Willow has an interest with that along with not having a full deck of cards is irritating. Willow wouldn't want her to go through that. Either way the card leads to what her future holds.
