To objectify something is negative but yet personifying something is praised. Take a dresser. It might be a box, straight lines made of planks of wood made to hold clothes. Some might go organic in shape having curves and spindled legs. An interpretation of natural structure but yet it's still manufactured from its original form into this manmade vision of its form. The dresser was a bold tree with outreaching branches narrowing into twigs, sprouting foliage bursting with organic life. Supporting life, housing families. Bark formed through a lifetime of resilience. Yet we take this life and turn it into an object. Then we find ways to make it have a personality through curvature and wood grain. Adding googly eyes and making a burping sound when retrieving a jumper. Maybe by personifying we objectify by making it something it never was.

Beauty and the Beast is based on this story, yet mostly people see the film as sexy hairy monster man, who they can fix, love story instead of a life effected by discrimination.

Has Beauty and the Beast objectified then personified itself?

Is this an eco-lecture?

Do I even like Beauty and the Beast?

Do I get the point of those talking objects in the film?

Is cars more offensive to objects than Beauty and the Beast?

Is Kachow a cool catchphrase?

Am I sober?

Doormat – Welcoming but walked all over
Furnace – Has enough warmth to help others warm people too.
Tea cosy – Fun to look at but kind of pointless.
Doorframe – Strong in earthshattering situations
Door Handle – A useful commodity but most will only take notice of her when she stops you in your tracks by hooking into your coat pocket.
Non Digital Kitchen Scales – Balance is her aim even if seemingly old fashioned
Beanbag Chair – Will wrap around people willing to take her embrace.
Pillow – Comforting and has a cool side.
Toilet – She takes a lot of shit.
Frying pan – Evenly distributed and maker of pancakes
Fireplace - If others fuel her she will burn bright. Once they're finished fuelling her, she is left with ash and discarded cigarette butts.
Other – What’s really a house? Any object could be a household object if you go by current government standards.

Door Handle – She is the only door handle I wouldn’t get irrationally angry with when it hooks into my pocket.
Ever since I've walked into her she's left a bruise that won't fade.
Now I'm questioning my soberness.
