I don't mind that one, lets see if that beats fetch. Love Language 4
Yes week four of love language polls, that means I have to find another subject to milk for polls next week. ooh maybe milk.
From making awkward eye contact with a stranger on the train or randomly platting the hair of the gentleman standing in front of you in the bank queue, we all have our little ways of telling the people in our vicinity how we love them.
Which type of love language does Tara give most significantly to Willow?
Words of Affirmation - "You don't have to be brave. I still love you. If you're worried you can be worried."
Physical Touch - Tummy rubs!
Receiving Gifts - Dolls eye crystal, *Cough*reality checks.*Cough*
Quality Time - Not one for the violence but joins the Scooby recon. They don't play charades often.
Acts of Service - She turned the light off in Family. Some say without even touching the lamp.
Receiving gifts, although in this case I guess its more giving. Words of affirmation was a strong contender (it would be my pick if it wasn't Willow specified) and each option certainly have strong evidence points. I've gone for gifts though as its the only one that's all encompassing as Tara gives herself to Willow.
Not a possession way but emotion, devotion and commitment.
Who are you, we have the "Yours" scene. I in Team, we have the dolls eye crystal which is a family heirloom of sorts so it holds a lot of significance about who she is and where/who she comes from.
The biggest hurt she (deservedly)caused Willow was walking away at the end of Tabula Rasa. That's a significant gift to take back in an apparent break up.
If you're a drooling, wide eyed, blabbering fool, you could say Tara in herself is a gift. Happy Birthday for Sunday, Tara.
(People could say it for Willow but who knows when her birthday is. Happy Friday Willow)
When it comes to significance, i think Tara giving her entire self to Willow throughout, is on par with Willow's "You're my always", its just a different perception of which category they apparently need to fit in.
