It’s safe to say PENS has the best, largest selection of W/T specific Fan-Fiction on the internet. Readers can easily find excellent stories in a wide range of genres. I like comedy, Sci-Fi and the occasional drama (as long as it isn’t too angst-ridden) but I get the most enjoyment reading romance and epic tales of adventure.

Which two genres blows up your skirt, floats your boat, butters your biscuit, tickles your peach, twirls your propeller, wets your harbor and.. in honor of MKF.. swings your string the most?

I have to say, I'd struggle with this. I have this tendency to write big stories and within them I will usually feature at least 4 or 5 of those options. My shorts will tend to usually be romance or comedy or smut (or a mixture thereof) so this would be hard for me to answer (since I write what I like). I often show romance through comedy or adventure, for example... and rarely just embrace 'it's a romance' or whatever.

I'd guess that would be similar for other writers? Right? (I have no idea, I don't read enough which is why I have to look to what I write to try to answer!)

So, my votes actually aren't for romance. I don't - personally - need to indulge in that if I can get to the love and the 'romantic elements' through other story elements. Hey, it's the girls, the love is always there but even for them I think a massively long, multi-part romance with nothing else would bore the pants of me (not literally!)

An associated question that would - at least from me - produce clearer results would be a slightly different use of 'genre' such as (and I am not expert enough to get these all right) - Cross over/AU/Missing Scenes/PWP etc etc

I'm really glad I found this site, there are so many kinds of genres of TaraxWillow fanfiction here.
I think this is the largest fanfiction base of that couple out there. And I have to say I dug deep on the internet.
I'm loving this site and I will be spending a lot of time here.

Probably either drama or smut. Can't go wrong with those two ;)

I voted in this a while ago, but romance. I like to incorporate drama/comedy/whatever into the romance instead of the other way around. That's just my style and my favourite thing about this poll and comments is showing the diverse approach to fanfiction we all have here :)
