I'm just saying I don't think it would work. Its an excellent idea and truly the only Angel who should be on top of a tree. Yeah the other can be considered a star. Un huh. I'm not against the theoretical, purely the practical. There's no way I'm making Tara have the top of a tree shoved up her while pine needles crisp and dry up and splinter off. I don't think plastic would be comfortable like yours.
Then there's the whole thing of human needs, such as sustenance, waste extraction and not liking being taken hostage.
Okay, that's nice. Hmm mmm. yep.
I best be off Nan but I'll call you again next year if you're still around, to make sure you don't forget to pop a fiver in my card.
Bye.
I have glitter in my cracked dry skin hand wounds, due to this Willow and Tara are getting a Christmas tree, regardless if people think they would or wouldn't have one because that's a less interesting poll than this one.
What style/type of Christmas tree would Willow and Tara have displayed in their personal living space?
(By personal living space I mean a tree that guests may not see as it's not on display, or it might be, depends if you think they would share their personal living space. The tv room you don't tidy for guests or in the bedroom. Where the really garish trees thrive.)
Two tiers to select for this poll, meaning you get two ticks.
Tree
Real - freshly chopped from the tree farm, nothing like getting needles in your feet and watching the fire risk in your house increase as the holidays go on.
Plastic - Made from plastic, life's fantastic. Less house fire risk but more planet fire risk. global warning. much like pets aren't just for Christmas. On the other hand, many colour choices and reusable.
Fibreoptic - technology in plants! going through batteries at an alarming rate.
A house plant - Why get fancy when you can upcycle the plant you've forgotten to water since you got it as a gift last year.
Yard Flamingo - The alternate, not traditional option.
Decorations
Standard - Tinsel, baubles, topper. many shapes, sizes and colours to get creative with.
Food - Popcorn chains, every branch with a chocolate hanging off and candy canes are gummy bear grappling hooks.
Heirlooms - Trinkets of days gone by made into decorations and a paper angel made in nursey that still hasn't degraded after 25 years mainly living in the loft.
Illuminations - If you aren't getting a migraine while wearing sun glasses indoors, its not bright and flashy enough.
Touching - Personal home made decorations, made fresh every year displaying their love for one another.
Naked - They got the tree, what more do you want? Its good enough for cake decoration.
Other - There's so many things you can do with a tree, why limit it with these options.
Probably best for this one to write your combo in the comments. That way we know personal choices but also get to see what two choices come out on top at the end of it.
House plant and touching. If fanfiction has taught me anything about the couple, they are insufferably couple-y 24/7, behind closed doors, in public, anywhere. everywhere, all at once. I doubt they have it as a Christmas tree. just a thing they have everyday and they write a note and attach it when they feel like it.
On display I'd go real and traditional, just going with the marketed consumerism shoved down their throat of what makes a proper Christmas. Its not their fault, its quite nice but don't ever think there's a right way to do Christmas despite what every film and advert tells you this time of year.
The poll didn't ask for that but I've got glitter in my dry skin wounds, felt like a moan.
