Frightening Fear

BOO!

Did I scare ya? highly unlikely, unless you fear large type and the letter O. no doubt there is a phobia name for that.
perhaps if I wore a bed sheet with holes cut out for eyes, real scary stuff. get your pulses racing thinking what's under that bed sheet, is its just a pair of floating eyes, or has SpongeBob shaved himself again? just the thought is making you sweaty and light headed. you want to run from those thoughts don't you, too scary, lets run to the poll question to get away from thinking what's under a bed sheet if not a bed?

Another two parter question, this week for Willow and next week for Tara. - What is Willows greatest fear?

Stage fright - Seen in both Nightmares and Restless. In fairness who wants to be upstaged by cowboy Riley.
Frogs - Ribbit, not for her pleasure.
Ponies - They like her arm, much.
Failure - Likes to give it her all but what if she comes up short. You know they say about kids experimenting with shortness.
Herself - Powerful, smart, strong, has a temper. If she saw those qualities in a foe would she not be fearful
Plutophobia - Perhaps a fear of money further fuels her feud with Anya. And why there's a constant certain bill payment argument.
Loss of loved ones - Too many goodbyes, not enough hellos.
Arachibutyrophobia - Fear of peanut butter getting stuck to the roof of your mouth. Watching Dawn eat could be Willows personal nightmare.
Other - Many fears out there. (Please say in comments)

It's tight between loss of loved ones and failure. she has so few people in her life who really get her and love her, the idea of someone like that leaving is no doubt a big play on her mind. But I think as she is such a try hard and doesn't want to let people down, she will see someone leaving as a failure on her part. making failure a longer burning fuel for the fear, loss may ignite it but failure keeps it going longer than everyone else's fire.
So I'm going failure.
One Shots - Basement Grotto - Door 25 - "You're My Always" - "Do You Like Cats?"
You don't have to write to contribute to the board, feedback can be its own event - Dubs Festive Advent Challenge - Fic Club - Pens Write A Holiday Story
Existing at some point, maybe - The Justice for Tara series.
*Rides in on a tricycle* Wanna play a game? - Five Minutes of Artistic Integrity - Those Three Little Words - Sassy Synonyms - Aradia's Antonyms

I'd say a spin on failure - the perception of failure by others and the loss of validation therein.

But I voted frogs for funsies.
