Yeah, I have to go with the gowns & glass slippers, too. It's the fantasy angle. Though to be perfectly honest ... I kinda liked what they wore on the show. It was Bad Wardrobe, granted, but I always thought that was kind of the point. It kinda suited them, you know? They weren't supposed to be the fashion queens Buffy was (Willow's mom was still buying her clothes in Season 1). And they were Witches. Kinda made sense that they were wearing their grandmother's fashion.
