DO NOT POST - Backup in Progress

Buffy Location Shoots - 3/21 & 3/22

OK, I was gonna sit this one out as I'm not directly involved, but I gotta say "ms.curious" after your most recent post, you are so, so missing the point - and a clue.

Yes, Bob and others who spend lots of their own time and energy going to location shoots deserve our utmost gratitude and respect.

In my book that means asking permission *before* reposting their info - not after it's already up and the damage is done. Blatantly rude, IMO.

Yes, most people are probably too lazy to scout the info themselves and go to the shoot in hopes of seeing something, BUT if even *one* Clueless Newbie shows up and causes problems - let alone dozens or hundreds who now have access to info they weren't supposed to have - we're ALL shit out of spoiler luck.

The producers get pissed, the source info dries up and that's it. Is that what you want to see? I sure don't.

Bob only posts this info to The Kitten Board because we know to keep it cool. Giving credit to him as the source of the location shoot info *pales* in comparision to the damage releasing that info on other boards will do.

So, please, "mscurious" or anyone else, leave the location scouting to the pros, and the info about those shoots where it belongs - here.

Thanks, wiccie!

And unfortunately, I don't have any news tonight. I've been wrestling with a computer problem, which is why I'm so late. Alas, I drove around Griffith Park two or three times but couldn't find the shoot. My guess is that they booked tonight just in case they didn't have enough time last week, and it turned out that they had enough time last week. Either that, or they're getting a lot sneakier about giving directions to their crew.

Tomorrow night should be a lot easier to spot, so here's hoping we have better luck then.

BBOvenGuy, what time are you leaving to view the shoot?

It will be about 3 hours earlier then the time zone that I live in.

The schedule says the shoot starts at 7:00, so I'll probably head out about then. I think Xita and Autumn may try to get there as well.

Oh shoot! I was about to take the 42 hour drive from Montreal to LA just to go hide in a bush...

But seriously, BBOvenGuy (and AutumnT and xita as well) thank you for your efforts. I have a question though... I should be Ms. Curious, I so deserve that tag...

Once the location shoots' "results" are posted here, can they be reposted elsewhere (with due credit to their authors and this board) or should a simple link be used? I'm not clear on whether or not that might offend... and I definitely don't want to be rude...

Now for the curiosity... BBOvenGuy, when (if ever) do you sleep, you poor man you? With the writing, and the posting and the worrying and the speculating and the location-shoot-attending... I've got a cream that does wonders for puffy insomniac eyes...

When the results are posted, yes you may repost them.

And as for when I sleep - I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I'm currently in the phase of my work where I'm rewriting one book and planning the next. That may sound complicated, but it actually gives me more flexibility than when I'm writing a first draft at a pace of 1000 to 1500 words per day.

No, actually I can understand that. I design websites to ay for college, and while I'm polishing one, I'm planning the next... it's the calm before the storm that is a deadline... Anyhow, good luck tonight!

I was going to go then my friend bought me a concert ticket so I can't go, but then again, maybe he'll forget.

Thanks for all your efforts, Bob. Hey, I'm sure you know they're appreciated, but it never hurts to hear it again, does it?

Good luck with the redrafting. (Another budding author here, who fully understands the whole '1% inspiration, 99% perspiration' rule...)

Yeah ok, so my friend lied and actually hadn't bought and tried to find tickets all week and couldn't lol. So now I can go, I'll probably head off around 8pm. Ok, maybe I'll see some people there.
