It's "42" Wednesday Miss Kitty Fantastico!

Postby kissystarcowboy » Wed Mar 20, 2002 12:54 pm

i called in sick today for the first time. so now i'm in my star pajamas watching old buffy tapes.

destiny, if there is a such a thing... i don't want to know mine. it would kind of wreck the suprises of life. i'm not sure if i believe in destiny or not. i do believe in reincarnation, so whatever i don't get around to in this life, i surely will in the next, or the next after that.

has anyone seen that new french film with the girl from amélie? it's called "happenstance" and it's pretty much about destiny, or really just how things fall together

Hmmmmm? The meaning of life the universe and everything... hmmmmmmm? *pulls semi-intelligent hard thinky face*

Yep, it's just gotta be true lurve. There's no doubt about it. That's what's at the centre of my universe anyway.

But it's specifically got to be the kind of true love that makes you want to do this ...and this

Hmm. The meaning of of llife. The meaning of life is indeed 42. Listen to enough Bob Dylan and you'll get your question .
If W/T were asked what the meaning of life was, I bet Tara would give a jokey answer like "Willowhand".

Salut les filles ! Je ne résiste pas à l'envie d'ajouter mes deux cents, mais je ne suis qu'une transfuge Chalupa, et je n'habite même plus en France. On devrait faire une thread en français...

My brain hurts too much already to answer this question, so I'm going with the above. Minus the sick part, of course That, or the ever popular ice cream theory, I like that one, too

Congrats on the Willowhand Ange, and the Doll's Eye Crystal Majik!

The meaning of life is obviously ice cream, soy vanilla latte's, lesbian love, all things beginning with "This one time at band camp...", good friends and Buffy on DVD.

well I'm glad everyone seems to share my theory that ice cream is the secret of life.
"Life sucks, play naked" is an ok motto but i prefer to live by "when life sucks, eat ice cream!"

I mean, have you ever stopped to consider a world without ice cream?

oh god...I think i need to go lay down!

Hey all, the new movie "Resident Evil" sounds like it's a good film. Any kittens seen it yet? The reviews seem pretty positive so far.
And the thought of the two girls, Milla Jovovich (yum) and Michelle Rodriguez (yum), kicking monster-butt together, sounds strangely appealing, to me at least....
(really, I don't know what's come over me lately )

Anyway, Michelle is a pretty good actress. (Click here for a pic). She was also in the film 'Girlfight', for those who don't know her.
And I know this is just gossip, but there's been some news about her today. Apparently she's been charged with minor assault following an altercation with the woman she was 'living' with. The article is here at eonline.

And I know this is worse gossip, but reading that article, I couldn't help wondering why a (presumably) rich hollywood star like Michelle would need to share a flat with another chick. Unless...
unless I'm just speculating way too much?

Sarah-B.
(And yeah, I do know she dated Vin Diesel last year. But Vin is sooo 'last year' )

it's best not to think about it. But what if...

*runs to the freezer, checks current ice cream status*

no it's ok! there's plenty, it's oooookay!

I don't know the meaning of life except that the meaning is found in the journey, not the destination. And to find love. I just wanted to say that I joined the kitten board a few days ago, and ever since I find myself sitting at my computer every night into the wee hours loving this community. I can't believe the love, kindness, and acceptance that I find here. I didn't know that this kind of thing existed. To have a link to so many wonderful people who make me feel warm and fuzzy and loved. . .wow. This place is a life saver. I love all you kittens out there. . .especially those who are up late at their computers (it's 1:40 am where I am). Have a good rest of Wednesday and a beautiful Thursday.

ugh *cough cough cough* Yesterday the weather in Korea was absolutely gorgeous. Sunny, warm (60s Farenheit), flowers blooming, birds singing ... Today, a big yellow sand dust cloud from China has floated by causing most of my students, most of the teachers, and myself to cough constantly. Yuck!

La-I didn't know you lived in Korea, my family and I used to take shopping trips there when I was kid. My Dad was stationed in Atsugi Japan. I loved it in Korea and Japan *sigh, hopefully I can go back one day* I'm so jealous of you.

Geeze, compared to Japan, prices here are marvelous (compared to the States too, prices here are good). CDs here are about US$10, in Japan, they're more like US$30, in the US, retail is usually US$18, but you can get them for around $13 at places like Best Buy.
Anyway, I teach English here (Girls' High School, ages 17 and 18), supposed to be for a year, but I'm about 95% sure I'm staying another year (I have to make my decision by the middle of April). Usually it's wonderful, but this sand is killing me. I have a weird headache too. I suppose it's entirely possible that I'm simply getting sick. The sand is worse than fog - I look out the window and can see clearly for about 10 feet before everything starts to be cloudy. And the teacher's room smells a little like an art room where people have been using clay, you know? Strange strange things. Hopefully it'll clear up tomorrow (my day off!) I love taking walks on my days off, but I don't want to if it's like this!

Genea, if you ever do get back here when I'm still here, you've got a place to stay!

Hey Sarah-B! I'm SO totally going to see Resident Evil! and of course for the same reason as you! just to see Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez kicking ass together is enough incentive to go see it! I heard that it wasn't the greatest quality movie on the planet but that its worth watching.

Tara: "I understand. You have to be with the person you l-love."
Willow: "I am." – "New Moon Rising"

"But with Tara, I just know she likes Willow, and she already has one of those" – "Family"

"Honey, in case you didn’t hear me the first six-thousand times, no more teleportation spells." – "Crush"

Willow: "I figured, life goes by so fast, if you don’t write stuff down it just gets…lost."
Tara: "Down to every last bagel"
Willow: "Down to every last everything I do with you" – "Forever"

Thanks, La that would be great! I hope your headaches get better. I have been headache free for 6 whole weeks after a nasty Rugby injury induced head injury. I recommend some ice cream and Buffy re-runs for a cure. *thinking happy thoughts for you and your head*
