One of us, not me, can actually sing really well.

wow, that was excessively funny. I sent it to a friend, and of course, her first question was "Tara dies?"... oops. But then she thought it was funny too, so...

You should get Autumn to do the Jerry Falwell bit. That's so great. :)

Well, I think it's the only thing that's actually in my range. And hey, it's short. Even I can carry a tune for one sentence. But only one.

LOLROF. :lol Great job Rally.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Willow: Hi, um Tara. I was wondering maybe you want to go out some time for coffee? food? Kisses and gay love?

The HTML action does look nice. The segues are great, too.

If we see little nitpicky things that might need correcting, should we email someone or do you two not care so much?

We care, we are pretty anal about it, I am working on cleaning up some problems now. So wait until morning and then go ahead and send your nitpicks along. Right now I am doing so much changing, it keeps getting reposted because of the contraints of the editor.

Re: Once More With Bitterness

The obvious solution is to use vi (or vim) and copy/paste from that. Then you could regex your way to bulk formatting bliss. :)

Also, are you previewing your HTML in a stand-alone web page before putting it in a post? That could speed up things. It seems as though there would be some lag time between posting and viewing that could be eliminated by just doing all the editing, formatting, etc. off-board, and only pasting over the finished product.

You're probably doing all of this; I just see the post change a lot, so it seems like you're doing it all on-board.

Re: Once More With Bitterness

No I am using an external editor to work in, as this built in editor sucks. But the preview chokes on stuff this large, so I have a mistake I need to go correct and then re cut and paste.

Hey someone posted a bit of this and a link on the Cross and Stake board.

This could get around.

Oh goodie, we'll probably get sued.

Rally, brilliant job with the collecting all this, thanks. :)

And to everybody who wrote this stuff, heh, might as well make the best of a shitty situation. :grin

Oh my God. That was fantastic. I love the added dialogue . . . I could not stop laughing at -

XITA: So. Tara’s life and sense of wellbeing is threated. Must be episode 19.

(By the way, could someone erase my earlier post now that things have changed so it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever? Possibly because I'm unregistered, I can't seem to do it.)

Done :) , if you want you can register yourself. You still won't be able to delete your posts, but you can edit them then, you could change the text into 'merry christmas' or something for example. :grin (this may only be mildly amusing if you have read some of the old spoiler threads from around christmas time).

Wow!

Postby Meganhovey » Mon Apr 15, 2002 4:14 pm

I was killing time, and decided to check the thread. Little did I know I was gonna be reading forever! But WOW, it was awesome. Ya'll rock. Really, they need to hire kittens to write for the show. *sigh*

I just rechecked the first page.

This is great! I love this, my bright shinny hope in all this darkness.

I would not worry about being sued. This clearly falls under the "fair use/parody" domain. Granted, I am not a lawyer, I have just been threatend with lawsuits before ;) Relax. It has been at least 2 years since I have had a website shut down because of my stuff.

ROFL!

That was...excellent-funny and sarcastic, and I could hear the songs in my head (of course, the fact that I still listen to the OMWF soundtrack every day helped).

It's good to know the spoiler board still has no humour in it (although optimisism seems like an urban legend by now).

Oh they can sue my ass. Just me, that is, not the other people who contributed. I don't care. I'm British. ;) We've built a whole culture on taking the piss.

And this is on Cross and Stake is it? Hmm. Interesting. I hope it does get around, if only to show that the Kitten Board houses some of the finest and wittiest talents on the net. So there. :)

I can't believe I hadn't discovered this thread before! I love the songs. It's good to see that there are so many people who are just as bitter, if not more so, as i am. : -->>:

Tara: Do you mind if I keep the light on? I was gonna look up some spells.
Willow: That's fine, I don't need to be snuggled...
Tara: Vixen!

I will put it up on my site as well now that I think I am about 99% done with the html work. It's a must read, and I am happy I was able to play a part in it's creation.

Well I still want to give a copy to Amber in BraBra...

Marti and Joss can have theirs at the end of the season if our script ends up spelling out how the season ends...with lots of beer and a great deal of bitterness.

Re: Wow!

Postby Willowlicious » Mon Apr 15, 2002 9:36 pm

See, now I feel bad. I had no idea these parodies were intended as part of a "project." I just thought it sounded like fun and wrote mine in about five minutes while under the influence of more than one substance. Now there are two "Theory" songs...and mine doesn't really fit. If I'd known it was supposed to fit, I would have made it fit. I was just goofing around. Sigh.

Anyway, oooops. Sorry.
