The part about the planets was brilliant. Willow as Mars and Tara as Venus that was so sweet :) The kiss was wow and just so tender; a truly beautiful moment. Thank you.

That was definetly worth the wait. I can understand Tara freaking out if she doesn't remember being with Willow. I can also imagine her being rather upset by the whole ordeal afterwards, when she's alone. Anyways I also can't wait for their "first time "

Tara nodded in agreement "She has magic fingers." Then, as though the words had just echoed back to her and sounded not at all right, she perked up and glanced around at the others. "On the keyboard."

Absolutely precious. So sweet. I like how you're exploring Tara's feelings. To her, it's all so new. Like Willow said, Tara's on the first date while she's on the tenth. But they're evening the playing field quite nicely.

Gotta say my favorite part was when Willow said she almost got Bs. That says a lot :)

:bounce Great update. That was so sweet and innocent. I am glad that Willow and Tara take time out to spend time alone without the bad guys interfering or the scoobies around. They really never showed it on the show and love that you are taking some time out to show them having alone time. Keep it up and can't wait til the next update.

The stargazing scene was beautiful and I loved the adjective competition even though it ended before Willow could really show off with her gorgeous, beautiful, stunning, so attractive, irresistible, and pulchritudinous Tara.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Awwww.... ladies, you have out done yourselves, again. This was simply beautiful. :love :cry :heart So touching. I loved how they promised each other that they would wait until they were both ready.

I really love the idea that it will essentially be like Tara's first time all over again. It's just very touching and I can't wait to see how you handle it.

And that kiss was just.... beautiful, ladies. WOW... so beautiful. :heart

(say SIHA very softy here... but we're glad you're enjoying it, there's only one more part to post for both endings and hopefully they'll be in the next few weeks... it was a real departure for us but we totally enjoyed exploring and writing it so thanks for reading) though Beth when she reads this is going to pout cause you only thanked me

Beth, please forgive me?? :pray I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to not thank you as well. That was very selfish of me. So sorry about that.

Yes, I have enjoyed it. I didn't know how I was going to feel about it at first, but I kinda warmed to the story, but W/T growing closer again, really warms my heart. :heart :love But... only one more part?? I'll hate to see it end, but I can't wait to read the ending. Thank you ladies.

Oh... I noticed on your website that you had a new story title up?? Can you give me hint as to what it will be about? I saw the pic for it. Is it going to be something like, SIHA?? I'm just curious.

Thanks again, ladies. I'm looking forward to reading more. **HUGS** :kiss

Oh this part was amazing guys (I too got tingly reading this part)! I must admit my favorite parts are when W&T are alone interacting, and this part didn't disappoint, loved the kissage! Just awwwww (so cute) with the game of adding adjectives to describe (out-do) the other. And the image of "Willow as Mars and Tara as Venus" just put a :) on my face. Lastly, I can understand Tara wanting to slow down a little/wait, and her saying ("Nothing about this feels wrong its just that it all feels so... new.") spoke volumes. With this in mind, the depth of love is never in doubt, just Tara wants to make sure it's "the right time for both of them". And I can't wait for the time to be "extra flamey" ;) . Looking forward to the next part!

Very nice.

Loved the star gazing. I am happy that Willow is doing better, but it is really contrasting how much they have both lost. I do wish that Tara get's her memories back, but I know that they will enjoy making new ones.

Postby KathleenWolf » Fri Aug 30, 2002 1:50 pm

mollyig: :) we wanted to have a nice scene were they got to express themselves... glad you enjoyed

Urn of Osiris: so you want us to stop the story there? ;) just kidding but you're right it would be a great fade to black if there wasn't a werewolf running around... and flaming O, good for you :)

Spazz07: Tara is definately playing catch up even when the memories resonante with such feelings inside her... as for the previous bad stuff... I think our gorgeous witches will be okay :)

Peggy of Sunnydale: :) so glad you're enjoying... and they definately don't want to rush each other, and hey slow does have its advantages

Miss1234kitty: thank you :)

TesniStryngefyre: ahhh thank you... handing rainbow tissue... so glad we could add a little sunshine to the horizon of S7

Puff: :) when the bit about the planets just came out during the scene I knew we so had a winner ... and the kiss... happy sigh

Wiccansillusion: our poor Tara does have a lot to work out in her own head but she's getting there... and yes their first time will be wonderful, we're looking forward to it just as much

Tiredsoul: :D yeah but what better way to get a B then to have a lovely girl rubbing your tummy... and they are leveling the playing field, most important part is they are talking to make sure all their feelings are known

MissQuirky: there will definately be some lovely dates... we have big plans for w/t of course... and with the snipet of the star gazing ME showed us we couldn't resist a longer version

Wolflord: both Beth and I know that in TV it must be hard to include all the things in the backgroud... but its especially important to us to show their progression at this stage... after all how can anyone relate to characters when they don't understand the progression they've made... oh wait S6 :lol now I know why it went so horribly wrong... anyway, much W/T scenes from us :)

Loco2: :) go team you! ... and thanks for sharing the cuteness with us

MadeinNZ: back to the beginning :) we saw it as the perfect theme... they have all the sins of S6 but with the promise of being able to at least re-write the future... glad you enjoyed

darkmagicwillow: :D okay you win the competition... and we could have had them going on for years

Funkyasian: :blush thank you so much... we're just so glad you like it

The Midnight Girl: oh yes no worries the girl will make it through regardless of angst... :) but yes there will be angst, we thrive on adversity

TheRose24: we could go so far as to say revolving back to one another... :) okay bad planet joke... and thank you we really wanted that scene to resonate and it definately seems to have worked

Jen: handing over rainbow tissues... :) we so wanted sweet and loving etc... so we're glad it had such an impact... they needed a together date just to get on the same page... :) oh and we love a good kiss scene... (yes SIHA is almost finished, but it's been a great writing adventure... the new story is actually going to be a similar pairing but very uber in that the characters are stuck in sorta different lives... we'll see if it works)

little wicca dude: :) so glad to hear from you... and so excited you're enjoying it... and yes Willow is on the way to recovery

Xita: :lol well you know us we could write a whole novel of conversation so easily... but I'm glad Willow's reactions were so easily felt... she's doing her best right now the brave little toaster

VampNo12: W/T alone are some of our favorite parts too... I mean we're a sucker for a great indepth scary plot but the little scenes like this one really help solidfy what is going on in the background... we can't wait for the extraflamey either ;)

Grimaldi: oh my... I hope your feeling better, lots of well wishes and if you need anything let us know... :) ... glad you could get caught up with us

WebWarlock: thank you... as for the memories have to wait and see... we're not sure how or if that will happen but for the moment as you said new ones are going to be just as fun

whew... okay caught up... that's what i get for having an insanely busy day at work and not getting on the kitten isn't it?

tiny update in two moments once I cue it up... and then hopefully another one tonight

Scene 8

Postby KathleenWolf » Fri Aug 30, 2002 1:54 pm

******

Madalene pushed out with the crowd and made sure Dawn was with her as they made their way out into the night with the rest of the moviegoers.

“Well I have to admit, much more amusing then I expected.” Madalene smiled as they crowd thinned out and they made their way down the street towards home.

“Buffy thinks talking animals are creepy.” Dawn replied as she munched on some left over popcorn.

“They aren’t particularly natural but who could resist Stuart.” The Spellcaster reached over to grab a handful.

“I know wasn’t he cute?” Dawn agreed happily.

“Though you know this means next time I get to pick the movie.” Mads laughed lightly.

“You’ll come with me again?” Dawn beamed at the idea, usually it was like punishment to have to take her anywhere, well at least prior to all out Willow watch it had been.

“Sure, if you don’t mind seeing something in the horror genre.” Madalene adjusted the strap over her shoulder making sure she could easily get to the stake Buffy had given her.

“I’m not old enough to go and see the really scary ones.” Dawn sighed, her shoulders sagging slightly. “I’m just a kid.” She munched sadly on the popcorn.

“You’re telling me your sister is the slayer but you’re not old enough to see a horror movie?” Madalene gave her a puzzled look. “That’s crazy, we can sneak you in.”

“Could we?” Dark perked up again. “I mean I’m not scared of anything.”

“Nothing?” Madalene checked a bit surprised. “Everyone’s scared of something.”

“Well yeah, but nothing like blood, vampires or anything like that.” Dawn admitted the things that didn’t scare her.

“Do you know what totally makes me get all jumpy?” The Spellcaster stopped and hit the crosswalk button at the red light they’d hit.

“What?” Dawn asked enthralled.

“Have you ever watched those late night infomercial and there’s always some bleach blonde woman smiling like she’s a plastic doll?’ The Spellcaster checked that Dawn knew what she was talking about.

“Yeah.” Dawn nodded that she did. “Not that I’m supposed to watch late night TV you know, Buffy’s in that over protective phase.” She added for information’s sake.

“It totally freaks me out that they never blink, it’s not natural and it’s completely scary.” Madalene shivered and laughed. “And your sister worries, she means well.”

“I know but like hello I’m sixteen.” The brunette huffed.

“Definitely old enough to watch scary infomercials.” Madalene checked as they began walking across the street.

“And I’m kinda mature for my age wouldn’t you say?” Dawn pushed slightly.

“Definitely.” Madalene nodded. “You did really great at the Magic Box, I meant to tell you and then things were all crazy.”

“Thanks.” Dawn looked down blushing just a little. “Someone had to do it thought, she doesn’t mean to but Buffy can be a bit… you know.”

“I think you’re sister’s just used to being very intense.” She agreed easily. “It’s hard for her to mediate it sometimes.”

“You mean she’s a bit of a spaz sometimes.” Dawn grinned and Madalene put her hand over her mouth as she started laughing.

“Though I’m worried.” She got her chuckling under control slowly. “If you think your sister is a spaz, I must be a total weirdo.”

“Nah, you’re kinda cool.” Dawn shook her head definitely offering more popcorn.

“Why thank you, you’re kinda cool too.” Madalene grinned and took another handful.

“I think it’s so cool that you and Tara are related.” Dawn explained more.

“You’re glad to have her back aren’t you?” Madalene asked the slightly obvious question.

“Tara?” Dawn clarified that they were talking about the same thing. “Mmmm I think glad is one of those silly words you know, like nice, it means nothing.”

“Very astute.” Madalene agreed. “So how would you describe it?”

“When Tara died…” Dawn’s body language changed a little her shoulders tensed and her face became visible sadder. “It was like the world went from colour to black and white, you know, I mean I lost my mom and sister the year before. Then I lost Tara, well Willow and Tara literally gave me the strength to stand again, then I lost her, well actually, I lost them both.”

“I don’t know if a lot of people have told you this but you are one of the bravest people I’ve ever met.” Madalene loosely linked her arm into Dawn’s as they walked. “And even if a lot of people have told you, I really mean it.”

“No, I’m not.” Dawn shook her head but she didn’t pull away. “I was scared, I still get scared.”

“Dawn being scared doesn’t mean you’re not brave.” Madalene’s voice was soft. “Being scared just means that you are even braver, because anyone can do something when they are confident. It takes someone really special to take action when they are afraid.”

“Then you’re super brave.” Dawn smiled rather weakly.

“Me?” Madalene made a slightly dismissive noise. “That would be you.”

“No, because you came here, you didn’t know anyone, you know anything about any of us but you came and you stayed.” Dawn explained her reasoning.

“I had too.” Madalene reasoned simply.

“You didn’t.” Dawn shook her head.

“I’m not going to win this argument am I?” The Spellcaster relented.

“No, because I’m right.” Dawn said smugly.

“Smarty pants.” Madalene laughed as they turned down another street.

Re: Scene 8

Postby miss calendar » Fri Aug 30, 2002 8:17 pm

Hi there,

Just wanted to say I'm really loving this fic and the recent updates have been so heartwarming, especially the stargazing scene. Love the way you show the bond between Willow and Tara as the one thing each can be sure of, despite their respective problems. Adored that line of Tara's,

'' I don't need to remember to know I love you. ''

I also like the way they instinctively fall into old patterns of intimacy even as they begin to rediscover each other.

'' Did I used to just sit and watch you a lot ? ''

'' You used to say it was your favourite thing. ''

Just in that brief exchange you convey so much about their past and present relationship and the situation they now find themselves in.

I love the fact that in some ways it's like the beginning of their relationship but there's that other layer underneath giving it added poignancy. And now that Willow is more herself it's good to see Tara turning to her to fill in the gaps in her memories and find out more about who she is. I like that Tara still thinks in the same quirky way ( e.g. commenting that the constellation looked like something in a bath not knowing she had previously named it, 'Moose taking a bath' ). Also loved Willow assuring her that she was smart and had got straight 'A' s, then recalling how Tara's tummy rubs had distracted her own study. While I don't believe for a moment that Willow was ever in danger of getting a 'B' it's so like her to joke about it.

The kissing and Tara's reaction was great. Bodies have memories independent of our conscious minds so it makes sense that Tara's body would respond even though she has no memories of them making love. Given the passion and intensity we know they had together it's going to feel disconcerting to say the least.

Willow then reacting by automatically blaming herself and thinking that Tara couldn't possibly be interested because ' 3 days ago I was insane girl ' is so in character, especially given her recent problems. I imagine that for someone like Willow who has always been a super brainy type having any kind of mental health problem must be terrifying and leave her feeling doubly insecure; now she can't trust her mind or rely on what was always her greatest strength.

When Tara insisted, '' Willow stop it. This is not about just you and you are not insane, you never have been. '' I couldn't help thinking that actually Tara is the one who was temporarily insane after Glory's brainsuck. Even though she doesn't remember this Willow will and I wonder how it affects her. I also found it interesting that when Willow was thinking of happy moments to tell Tara about, 'the dark ones began to cloud her.' Perhaps Willow would prefer if Tara doesn't get back all of her memories, for instance the 2 spells she cast to make Tara forget).

Anyway gonna stop rambling now. Thanks again for a great fic.

Oh some lovely updates here! Love the star-gazing with Tara and Willow. And Tara's right... they should wait until they're both ready.

And Dawn and Madalene are great together. It's kind of like another Tara for Dawn... someone to talk to and tell her feelings to. Very nice. :)
