Morning - a lil fan fic

I take a deep breath, hold it for 10 seconds and then let it out. I repeat the process several times. Ok, what the heck I'm just gonna go ahead and post my first fan fic, consequences be damned. Hope you like!!

Summary: Just a little Willow/Tara thingy from Willow’s point of view.

I hear a noise far off in the distance. As the darkness slowly lifts I become aware of my surroundings. The noise is in fact the alarm clock sitting on my bedside table telling me that it’s time to get up.

The early morning sun is beginning to warm the room. I also feel the warmth of her. She is curled up beside me with her hand on my hip. Even in our sleep our bodies are always touching.

I turn off the alarm and turn over to face her. A frown briefly creases her forehead before she settles down again. This is one of my favourite times of day, when I get to watch my love sleep. She is so beautiful my heart always swells with the amazement of her.

As some stray strands of hair fall across her face I can’t resist the temptation and I gently brush them aside. Even though my contact is soft it is still enough to wake her.

Her incredible blue eyes slowly open, a smile spreading across her face as they adjust to the light and she sees me. My heart skips a beat. It skips several as I see the love in her eyes, her love for me. Tara loves me, little old Willow. Fancy that.

She moves closer to me so that our bodies are fully touching. We wrap our arms around each other and our good morning kisses carry me away. What a morning.

Aww, that was lovely. A nice insight into the first thing Willow thinks when she wakes up. It's a super little fic for your first attempt.



You should attempt doing longer, plot orientated ones, I'm sure they'll turn out great.

Hey welcome to the writing world. I know how you feel about being nervous but it'll pass. And awww that was sweet. I do agree with Caz make it a bit longer but it is still good.



My first fic was also a short one too besides the one on "The One Where Everyone Has a Go." It's a great place so check it out and maybe join the list of people there. I can't wait to read more of your work so keep going.

This was really nice. I have grown to appreciate morning fics and this gets to the core of those... appreciation of the one you love in the light of a new day.



I agree that something longer would have been good, but this does what it set out to do very nicely indeed. Can't wait to see what you come up with next - and if nothing else the Tara Pov?

This piece was actually a lot longer when I first wrote it. I thought it lost some of its impact though so I cut it down a lot.



I was a bit nervous posting my first fic because everything that I have read on here is so darn good. It is a fantastic place to come and express yourself.



I'm currently in the process of writing the Tara POV of the same morning (great hint there Paul!!) and as soon as I am happy with the end result I will get it posted.

I thought checking Pens every 15 minutes was enough, but no...



Anyway, I just wanted to tell that I really liked this fic altough as I am a Ficaholic (and proud to be) I am never satisfied... They're always too short!

I know how scary it is to post something you wrote for the world to see. I've only done it once but it's so rewarding... I'm glad you shared this, it was definitely worth it.

Summary: Just a little Willow/Tara thingy from Tara’s point of view.



MMM big green eyes and sweet tasting lips.



Huh, what’s that noise? Ahh it’s stopped, that’s much better. Now where was I?



Soft red hair and a warm embrace. Not to forget those hands, Willow hands.



She must be awake because I can feel the bed dip as she moves.



Now something is touching my face. No. She is touching my face.



Slowly I open my eyes as sleep loses its grip. Pools of love filled green and a smile that makes my heart race slowly come into focus as my eyes adjust to the light filling our room.



There she is. My beautiful, smart, sexy and insatiable Willow.



This isn’t the first time I’ve caught her watching me sleep. It seems to have developed into a hobby. Not that I’m complaining. The look of pure love, tenderness and desire on her face and in her eyes always ignites a flame that makes my body burn from the tips of my toes to the top of my head.



I move closer to her so that our bodies are pushed against one another, our arms hold each other and begin to explore. Just when I think my heart and soul can’t hold anymore love for her, they do. She is mine and I am hers, completely and without question.



Slowly, gently we begin to kiss. But the flame soon turns into a raging fire and love and passion soon take hold. Good morning my love.



What a way to start the day.
