Learning To Deal
Chapter 1 – Make an Entrance
There was a quiet tapping; Willow could hear shuffling the other side door.
Looking briefly at her clock she realises how late it is.
Who knocks this time a night?
Slowly she gets out of bed and heads towards the door. Realising she’s going to be embarrassed standing in her Yummy Sushi Pj’s, she quickly grabs her dressing gown and begins to open the door.
“You do know it’s 12 at night right and…” Willow looks up and straight into the eyes of her friend. “Tara hi. Um sorry I just…”
“Willow I need to talk to you,” Tara says quickly before Willow can finish her explanation.
The way Tara is ducking her head Willow can tell it’s something bad. Assuming crash positions Willow puts her arm around her good friend and lets her enter the dorm room.
Tara looks around the room that Willow shares with her best friend Buffy. She’d only been here a few times before as Willow would usually come round to her dorm room, she would say it was quieter and they’d have no Buffy interruptions. The pair had been friends for about 4 months now and yet Willow had never introduced her to her friends. Sure Tara was a little upset but she just hoped that Willow wasn’t ashamed of her and one day soon she would meet them. She had heard many stories about them all especially how Xander had an oddly strange girlfriend called Anya. She was sure that she had heard Willow call her a demon while she was talking to herself but just assumed she meant hypothetically.
Tara was thrilled to have Willow as friend. She’d never really had a proper friend before she’d had a few almost friends but they just felt sorry for her because they’d found out how horrible her family was. But Willow was different. Tara hadn’t mentioned her family; she had avoided all talk about them some how. She knew she wouldn’t be able to get away with it much longer but she tried anyway. Secrets are never good, and Willow had a secret she just knew it. There was something. Freudian Slips for one; Tara just wasn’t sure what they were about. Sometimes she could swear Willow once said ‘he was a vampire’ and changed her mind to ‘nasty man’! But that would be silly, vampires?! Yeah right she always thought to herself, as if they’re real!
At least Willow was straight about her sexuality. Well straight wouldn’t be the right word exactly; she was gay. She had told Tara only two weeks into the friendship. Of course Tara didn’t mind at all. She reassured her saying that just because she herself was straight didn’t mean she wouldn’t want to be her friend. Tara could tell how relieved Willow was and that made her so happy that Willow had had the courage to tell her something so private. She had also mentioned that she was out to all her friends just not out to her parents or anyone outside her friends circle.
A few weeks into the friendship however Tara had realised something so unusual for herself that it scared… no terrified her. She liked Willow and in more than just a friends way. At first she just tried to push the thoughts away to the back of her brain and try to label them as just being desperate because she had never been out with anyone.
But as time passed it became so hard to push them away. Every time Willow came close she would get butterflies in her stomach. Just looking at Willow from afar made her smile and her heart and stomach flutter even more, she couldn’t deny the fact that she was falling in love with the most beautiful girl ever, as she’d think. She had to do something about it or it would eat away at her.
Willow had never given off any signs that she might like Tara back, but Tara had to believe it was the only way she would be able to get through this fateful night.

Welcome back wonderful start more soon please

Welcome back!

especially considering the way that Willow took the news... it's obvious that there hasn't been enough between them yet for that kind of declaration. In my opinion Tara should have taken the out Willow had given her with the "friend" thing and saved "I'm in love with you" for a more appropriate time.
your killing me
