The always-versatile Ed Begley Jr has signed to star in writer/director Christopher Guest's latest film, "For Your Consideration".

The film, co-starring Guest, Eugene Levy, Jennifer Coolidge, Ricky Gervais and Michael McKean, centres on three actors who learn their respective performances in the film "Home for Purim," a drama set in the mid-1940s American South, are generating award-season buzz.

Begley Jr, who also starred in Guest's "A Mighty Wind", "Best in Show" and "This is Spinal Tap", recently shot the comedy "Franis Hamper" with Natasha Lyonne, and "Tripping Forward" co-starring former "Buffy" star Amber Benson.

And Amber now also has a part in yet another movie, filmed in North Carolina, entitled Mountain Time.

I read the script, or at least the parts involving Amber, and I like ehr character in this very much. She is really good at playing the moral centre of a film which is where she is in this.

As for the Santa lingerie, I think that will be fun and Amber showing once again that you cna be sexy without being naked. Long may her no-nudity stance hold as I respect her very much for her position on that.

I was wondering when Kittens were going to start commenting on these lovely pics. Here is what I wrote in the Amber Pics Thread;

TRIPPING FORWARD is an off-beat, edgy comedy about two partying roommates in Hollywood that make the unfortunate mistake of selling drugs to supermodels to make ends meet.

While Ford (Chris Fogleman) struggles with the fact that his only success is in commercials and desperately tries to advance his career as a film actor, Tripp (William Gregory Lee) has given up on music in order to concentrate on drugs and sponging off of Ford.

When they run out of money, the boys must come up with some quick cash in order not to be evicted. Tripp finds the "perfect" solution: selling drugs to supermodels. Ford isn’t keen on the idea but acquiesces in order to pay the bills and so that he can to continue his acting classes with Gwen (Amber Benson), the girl of his dreams.

After a drug deal goes bad, Ford finds himself caught between his drugged-up idiot roommate and a mafia boss hell-bent on castrating him.
