Ch. 2 Payton and Tara
Spike just stood there mouth open, eyes wide, then he fainted. Um, is he ok? I dont know, Tare. I think hes just in shock. Should we slap him or something? As much as I would like to do that I think we should get him inside. The suns comeing up. Oh, ok.
Spike woke up about two hours later. He was sitting in his chair looking around for any sign of anyone.
"Oh, bloody hell. It was just a dream. Whew! Ok good your awake. Um, listen where do you keep your towels? Tara wants to take a shower. Thats ok isnt it? Ya, there in the closet over there. Hey, you didnt tell me your name. Payton. So how did this happen? Well its a really long story. Ok, what do you want to know? Whos your mum? Drusilla. Dru! Ha. Always doing the opposite of what someone tells her. Ya, thats mom. So what did she do? Well I guess she did a spell. Then nine months later here I am. But something went wrong. Dont they always. So your a vampire? Well thats what went wrong."
Then they heard the shower stop. "Payton where the hell is my towel? Sorry Tare. Gotta go. Well finish this later, ok?" Later that night Spike made two more rooms, one for each girl. They had a lot of luggage two Spike could have sworn that they had more suitcases then the amount of people hes killed.
The next morning Spike was doing whatever he does at ten in the morning. When Buffy kicked the door open. "Bloody hell, watch it when you kick the door open will ya?! Shut up! Your not dead yet. Listen, I need your help in finding a demon. Search the bars tonight ok. I cant. What? What do you mean y.....
But Buffy didnt get the rest of her sentence out as Payton walked in with a sack of blood in her hand. Hey Spike? Where are your cups? Tara and I would like some breakfast. Hi. I didnt know people were coming over or I wouldnt have interupted. Its ok. There in the cupboard over in the corner. Thanks. Then she walked into the kitchen.
Who the hell was that? Are you biting little girls now Spike?!! She ran at him and tackeled him to the floor where she pinned hm in less than two seconds. What the hell are you thinking? What do you lure them back to your crypt and them keep them there until they beg you to bite them? I should kill you myself.
Then Payton came back in, again. "Hey dad? Hehe I just love saying that. You dont mind me calling you that do you? Well, do you have a microwave? Tara likes her breakfast warm. No, I dont really care much for it warm in the morning. Unless its from a body. Ya me neither. Well ok. Ill just tell her to deal. Shell live. Sorry, tell her that ill try and get one. Sure thing pops. Hehehe." then she walked back out laughing to herself.
Buffy, who had let go of Spike the moment she heard her say dad, was sitting there mumbling to herself. "Hey, are you alright? Dad, Spike. Dad. Daughter, Spike. Buffy!! Hey! Why didnt you tell me? When? in between you yelling at me. Then tackeling me to the ground. When did you find out? Last night. They showed up on my door step. Whats her name? Payton, and my neice Tara. Which I dont exactly know how that works. How did this happen. Long story. Dont know it all yet. Well maybe we should have her tell us. Ya, alright let me go get them.
After about an hour and a half of telling a story and lots of questions. Both Buffy and Spike were just completely shocked and amazed at the same time. Wow, that is one hell of a story you two. Ya. So you guys are half vampire, half human. Yes. And Tara, your not actually my neice. No. See Drusilla bit both my mom and dad and turned them. Then Payton bit me and turned me. But since shes only half vampire half human. I bacame the same. And you can go in the sunlight, but you drink blood. Yes. Spike could I talk to you for a second? Dont you think the gang would really like to meet them? I guess. Could they meet them? Ya, im sure that could be arranged. Just dont have them be like sideshow freaks. OK? Ya.
Whats going on uncle Spike? How would you guys like to go meet the gang that I sort of hang out with. OOh ya fun. Right now? Yep. Are you coming? No, sun. Oh yay. Well lets go. Payton opened up the door and they all started on ther eway to Revello drive.
