Sounds a little like a mish-mash of some other shows out there but it's definitely worth a go, the webisodes are great despite the limited budget and Amanda Tapping is simply gorgeous. The first four webisodes are available on youtube and they're all available on vuze.
I'm hanging out for the series to start, I hope they keep the focus on Amanda's character. The actress who plays her daughter is hot but just doesnt have the same screen presence.
