I have to say I'm with Jen on this one! I liked the first show, and with some work on the part of the writers I think it could be good. I'm holding off on making any decisions about characters, until we see where they're going with them as the show progresses.
They did cover alot of the life stuff we see everyday. Couples with issues, those concerned enough about their image to hide the truth, the one who "does" everyone (come on...we all know at least one of those types!

) And of course we can't ignore the "confused"!!(I'm with him, but I like her)
I really only had issue with one particular scene with Bette and Tina. They profess to being in love, and monogamous to each other. They want badly enough to share their love with a child. However, just the fact that Tina was ovulating shouldn't have been enough to consider taking a man to bed, much less not telling him they were trying to conceive!
Maybe I'm a prude, but if I was in a "monogamous" relationship, I don't care how badly we wanted a child. Waiting another month to be inseminated would have to be the only option. Not making out with my girl while she's having sex to conceive our child. And on top of that, they had just been arguing about issues concerning a child.
I'm looking forward to seeing where the writers and directors will be going with all this. Given the fact that there will be different directors involved, I think there's potential.
