And I'm probably the only person that liked Howard the Duck

Um... :blush Guilty here. I loved this movie as a kid. I own it. I haven't watched it in a while though, but it's in my collection. Imagine how I felt, when I recently found out that George Lucas's name was attached to it. :shock

Cocktail with Tom (free Katie, please) Cruise and Elisabeth Shue. I can not explain why I must stop and watch this movie whenever I come across it on the tv. I have a feeling it has something to do with a fantasy involving me, Elisabeth and that waterfall. Added bonus: Gina Gershon.

I own a much-used copy of Beavis and Butthead Do America, and I'm woman enough to admit it! I LOVE this movie, I practically pee myself laughing every time I watch it. Thank you for not shunning me.

Ok...

A. I loved Howard the Duck as a kid and I actually enjoyed Spice World. I would buy them on DVD if I could find them.

B. I have Encino Man on both VHS and DVD. I think I've seen it 20 times.

C. I fully admit that one of the biggest cheeseball movies to come out of the early 1980s is also one of my favorite movies...Xanadu. I have the VHS, the DVD and the soundtrack. I have loved this movie since I was 5.

I liked "Howard the Duck" too! I'm ashamed to say I've seen most of these movies. However, the two that top my list are "The Last Dragon" with Vanity and sigh, "Showgirls." I even went to the theatre to see it, me, some friends and a bunch of elderly people sat through it. In my defense "Showgirls" had Gina Gershon in it and I've never been able to say or hear the word Darlin' without thinking of her. Hmmm, Gina Gershon.

Well, since "D.E.B.S." was mentioned quite often in this thread, I figuered I'd better check it out...

And what should I say... I admit I liked the movie *g*

It is a stupid movie, but it's funny, romantic and it has hot girls...

Enough and The Last Dragon are very good, in my opinion anyway. I loved to see Jennifer Lopez beat the crap out of her psycho husband and just the music is enough to make me sit through The Last Dragon. It is kind of corny, but that's okay. :grin

Hee... hearing Gina Gershon saying Darlin' over and over again... :drool YUM!

Howard the Duck and The Last Dragon... wow. I haven't heard those movies mentioned in long time. I loved them both even though they were a bit cheesy. Adding to my list of embarassing admissions, I also liked Adventures of Babysitting and Little Shop of Horrors.

Oooh! I loooove Little Shop of Horrors. It came out when I was little and I use to love to watch it over and over cuz the plant would always crack me up. "Feeeed me!"

Anyways, I also love to watch Josie and the Pussycats. I've seen that movie about a hundred times and it makes me laugh every time.

Jeepers Creepers, 1 and 2.

I love these movies.

Although I may enjoy them so much because I always root for the Creeper and not the people he's killing :lol

And oh yeah, in the first one, Gina Philips :heart

Is that 'The Truth About Jane' with Ellen Muth and Stockard Channing? I loved it too. It's a wonderful little movie, although I found the mother's attitude completely bizarre and I still hated her at the end of the movie.

Hey, now! :happy As a true Arnold fan, I have to say that I have seen Red Sonja and I happened to like it. Of course, just like Conan, he didn't get the girl in the end and something tragic happened to them, but I still enjoyed it.

Reading this page I'm very relieved that I'm not the only person who liked "Showgirls" ! Gina Gershon is really ravishing, isn't she....
Jen is totally right in saying that Gina gave the word "darling" a new meaning ....

Any movie with Gina in it is worth watching, even if she only read from a phone book.

That's why I even like "Red Heat" .....

I really hate to admit it, cuz I'm usually such a snob when it comes to movies...but I own Bring It On (hey, Eliza working out in skimpy outfits) also 10 Things I Hate About You guess growing up in John Hughes times gave ne an unnatural affinity for teen comedies...I also hate to admit that I own all the American Pie movies...but it's only for Aly...and the quite horrid Resident Evil (but only cuz Michelle Rodriguez is such a hottie)...it really annoys me that she only gets roles in action movies...did anyone see her first movie Girlfight? The woman can act! So she's a little butch...give her something to do other than kicking ass please...

Time to confess:

There was an old sword and sorcery flic:

Hawk the Slayer.

This was so cheesy that it was probabily sponsered by the state of Wisconsin. I'll admit it was bad but l loved it. I've got the DVD too.

Jack Palance probabily wishes he could cross his name off the credits.

Here's another one:

Deathsport - the old Roger Corman 'classic' new to DVD. I watched it as a kid and as an adult knew better that to buy the DVD as part of my collection. After watching this again, I realised that I still liked this film. I think I need to spend some time in a sensory deprivation chamber....

Oh well, my consience is clean.

okay, i've just finished watching "chucky's baby" and as much as it pains me to say it, i thought it was frickin' funny. there, i said it.

jennifer tilly is just too cool, especially when she's playing herself. a few great quotes in that one, too. (i won't tell though, because i wanna save them for the movie trivia thread... :-D )

anyway, yay jennifer and yay "chucky's baby".

I'll start by admitting that last night I watched Ice Princess, the recent Disney figure skating movie starring Michelle Trachtenberg.

I watched it tonight, bought it for ten euros today and it is not the worst ten I ever spent I might say. I have a soft spot for cheesy Disney feel good movies (after seeing the preview just now, I want to buy Princess diaries 2 as well). Anyway, I found this movie to be very enjoyable, cliched without being boring, great cast and enough humor. The little fanatical figure skater was hilarious.

Oh my gracious goodness!!

*sheepishly*

I watched it last night!. I got it from netflix.

I am very nearly ashamed to admit that I actually kinda enjoyed it. It certainly wasn't the worst thing I watched (I got Date Movie too -- ugg). I am a sucker for a feel good movie and I love the Cusaks -- and was pleased to note that the cheerleader from Heroes was in it :-D

I'll admit I have seen most of the films that the BTVS cast was in, and decided to buy them. At least, Amber lives up to quality when the film is actually not that great, some examples are Taboo and Intermedio, but they help when you have had your fill of the cast of Buffy characters for the day.
