Hey!
Okay, so this is assuming you're using Windows and if it's confusing I'm really sorry!
First, for downloading videos from Youtube, you can either download the:
Youtube Downloader, where you enter the URL from youtube and download/convert it into a WMV file.
I know loads of people who find this the easiest way, but I've had troubles with that software, so this is an alternative that I use:
If you use
Firefox as your internet browser, you can download an extension called
Download Helper. Once that's downloaded, when you view a youtube video, a symbol of three blue, yellow and red balls will appear beside the title name of the video.
If you click down on the arrow and click 'download', your video will download.
You'll then need to convert the file into a WMV file and this is the best software to do that:
Any Video Converter
Once you add your video to that, change the 'profile' button on the right top corner to 'WMV' and press convert.
Now that your videos are in the right format, you can start to burn them to a DVD.
Again, if you're using Windows, you'll have a program on your computer called 'Windows DVD Maker', you can search for it on the start menu by entering 'DVD Maker' and it should come up.
Once you open that, you press on the 'Add Items' button and add the videos you want to burn.
You can change the title of your dvd by entering it in the 'Disk Title' space on the bottom, it will default your title as the date.
Then click next, and it will bring you to your menu screen. Your disk title will appear there and you can choose from a few different animations styles for how it's displayed.
Then you just click 'burn' and your dvd will start to burn.
It can take quite a while to burn, depending on how many videos you have on there etc, but it can just work away in the background.
All of the software I mentioned is free by the way, there are some quicker ways to burn things with software like Nero, but you have to pay for it.
Hope that helps a little and wasn't horribly confusing!
