Carl Jung and Co. -Personality Type Test

Postby StaceAngel » Thu Jun 19, 2008 4:25 am

Hello all! I hope you're all doing well!

Okay I'll jump to the chase. On my quest for a better knowledge of...well... everything, i've been reading up on Carl Jung. Now, i found the personality type test he helped create and i thought i'd share! It's a really interesting and scarily accurate test that reveals your personality in four different stages.

Mine happens to be INFJ; Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging.

Now i managed to print out my profile however i'm lazy and it's long so i won't type it out but have a go and let us all know what you are!! I'm pretty interested to find out

Cool! I loooove those test I don't know why since I can't stand psy-anything, but hey, I jump right in!
My result is INTJ Introverted 33% iNtuitive 38% Thinking 38% Judging 61% {% is the strenght of preferences} gee I'm a judge urgh. lol
with that personality they say my best jobs could be :Computer Programming , Natural Science, Engineering. Cool!!! This test really is accurate, since those three are indeed the only three jobs I'd do :D
Plus, there is one famous person who is of this personality, Stephen Hawking, god I adore his work! *giddy* :bounce ok ok I'll stop :blush

Your Type is INFJ
Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging
33% 38 % 62% 33%

It says I'm an idealist counselor type, and slightly less than 1% of the population fit this type.

Damn! I is special at last :pinky

People who share this trait: Mohandas Gandhi, Sidney Poitier, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jane Goodall, Emily Bronte, Sir Alec Guiness, Carl Jung, Mary Baker Eddy, Queen Noor are examples of the Counselor Idealist (INFJ).
People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built. Eleanor Roosevelt

Cool discovery Stace and thank you very much for sharing ^^. I love the Jungian approach too. However, just on a note of caution everyone, please be careful with any psychological test that is published online as although those tests are freely available, their distribution is still under a strict control. And as they are published online, not all of them are accurate even when they seem to be reliable and valid - hence, do not feel disheartened even if the results are disquieting.

My profile index states the following:

Introverted : 44%
Intuitive : 12%
Feeling : 38%
Perceiving : 33%

And in the career indicator index, there is Counselling, Humanities, Literature/writer, Psychology/Psychotherapist (hah! Quite pleasing as this is already my domain)
