In March I am off to Europe and I am being a total dork about it i.e. reading lots of books and practicing my key phrases. For a month a friend and I will spread our time between London-Ireland-Amsterdam-Brussels-Paris-Madrid-Barcelona and wherever else we might land.
What I am hoping to achieve with this thread is to acquire some ideas, advice, recommendations and/or warnings. I have traveled before but I do not know the cities mentioned above well enough to know where the good hostels or places to stay are. Paris makes me really nervous because we will be there for maybe 4 days and I have no idea where to book and it is one of the places we don’t know someone. So I am reaching out to the Kittens in hopes that some brave soul could impart some knowledge. I would totally buy you a drink or if you ever came to Tampa said drink would be imbibed at one of my local bars.
