did you practice kissing....?

I took the slut test a little while ago and one of the questions was 'did you practice kissing with other girls'? Presumedly straight girls they meant. My thought was 'what an opportunity I missed out on'. I knew very early I was interested in girls so ......... not only could I have scored higher on the test, I could have weaseled my way into some other girls arms a lot sooner than I did.

Well I missed out when this experimenting was going on. If I had know about it at the time I would have been a happy participant I'm telling you.

Okay kittens, were any of you more on the ball than I was? I promise not to be too envious. (maybe).

Practise? lol I didn't need to practise lol lol Ok a joke! Enough of my big-headedness for a second. Well I didn't practise kissing, my friends used to do it with fruit or on the back of their hand or on their posters and for a laugh when I was tipsy once at a sleepover I kissed a poster of mine because I was "dared" to lol But like hmmmm kissing paper and wall never did it for me somehow lol

The first kiss I had was when I went on a date with some sleazy guy that one of my best buds had set me up with. That was awful, one word = slugfest. But then I met my other boyfriend ( justin) and kissing with him just came naturally and I was very attracted to him so I felt like I didn't need to practise as such. I learnt what he liked and just kissed him alot, the same with my girlfriend Nina ( now my ex) later on, and while I haven't kissed someone else yet I do look forward to it She knows who she is

Kissing is a discovery, something special to me anyway and I think that it should be between two people that care deeply for each other. I did have a kiss with a guy in a club once because I was upset with my boyfriend but taht did notrhing for me. That was something I did not need. I think it is good to practise on the person you are with because you soon learn what they like and the feel of them and they learn what you like and it brings you closer, on an emotional level. The lips of your lover on yours is the best feeling in the world, practising on fruit/walls/posters hands is all good for fun and if you are young but it is better to just go with it

Well, Sapphire Eyes, I see you were good at it from the start. I kind of would have liked to have practiced *wink* with other girls who thought we were just getting our techniques down. Girls you couldn't have gotten to kiss otherwise, like the prom queen. The cheerleader. Girls that didn't know what a lesbian I was and were naive enough to think I was just "trying to get it right". I've heard of girls doing a lot of things with each other in their early teens so as not to appear 'unskilled' when the boys came calling. I would have loved being a part, unknowingly to them, of their education. I remember a few girls, a Karen and certainly a Bonnie, back in my teens that I would have given an arm and leg to make out with.

As it was I didn't know this kind of thing was going on, girls practicing together, or I assure you I'd have tried it out. "How bout this way?" "French kissing? How do you do that?" 'Buffy' got to do it in Cruel Intentions after all.

I know a few people who have practised on their friends and my bewst friends mother told me she practised on her female best friend when she was younger, and last wek my best fried told me taht if she "had to" kiss anyone out of us lot then she would kiss me because she wouldn't be weird about it lol. Good to know lol

I think that it is ok to practise as long as things won't be made "weird" for the friends in question afterwards. If that faiols just kliss your partner alot, half an hour of kissing burns 250 callories apparently and while these things can seem trivail it is sure alot more exciting then a treadmil

In response to the whole "Cruel intentions" thing I always took it from the angle that Sarah Michelle Gellar's character did that sort of to spite Selma Blair's character? Like as an extra kick for her and as an extra way to "disgrace" Cecile? I could be wrong but that''s just my spin on that part in the movie.

The truth is I've never watched the whole movie so I only know of that scene and that Michelle's character was trying to teach the other girl how to french kiss. You would think that would be enough motivation LOL.

I practiced on my cabbage patch doll. I always knew I was gay and was/am still shy around girls, so I never did the sleepover thing. I wish that I had known that girls practiced with each other. Who am I kidding, I still would have been home on a Saturday watching SNL. All in all, I think that I am a bad kisser because the doll never kissed back.

Well it started out experimenting and we kept on doing it I left out the part that we ended up sleeping together for 8 months I guess you could say we were and still are the best kind of friends and till this day even though we still hang out I tease her cause her husband don't know we were lovers long before he came into the picture that was 26 years ago

Hey dont feel left out...according to my two friends in girlscouts it's one big gay/bi party...I was like where was I for this? And then I remembered that when my sister joined I told my mom it was too girly for me.

And I never practiced...I kinds just did what felt right. First kiss: 14 with my best friend. Haha.

I have this thing for kissing. Sometimes I don't think we have to go any further, it is just that satisfying for me. Naturally it does go further so it's not been a hinderance. Still, my goodnight kisss can last a long time and no one has complained. Of course, how could they with me all over them?

Not the first but one of the first was a girl named Joyce and she was older than I by a year or so and she taught me a whole lot about the kiss technique. I used to keep my lips closed so it almost just a pucker which I'm sure didn't turn anybody on. I must have been terrible at spin the bottle. Well she finally, after we made out for a while, told me I was awful and told me to part my lips and use my tongue. Holly molly!!!

Now I use everything available, with everything I have. And *giggle* I practice a lot on my technique.

I love this. Was it like the "purity test" questionnaire that used to float around from time to time? That was in college for me...and I remember secretly smirking at the knowledge that I scored higher than my straight friends. It might have been the gay thing. Or the fact that I'd been arrested (don't know why that question was on the purity test). Or that I was in college and it was a big experimentation free-for-all anyway.

I knew I was gay in high school because the only people I ever dreamed of kissing were girls. It was funny. I'd have this dream, and then wake up and think to myself: "OK, go get her." And then I'd wage an all-out campaign to win over the girl. At the time, they were straight girls (or sorta straight). But I managed to lure at least a couple over to the dark side, and they're still friends.

For me, the boys were more of a litmus test. I'd kiss a boy and think: Yep. Still gay. I had this one incredibly surreal conversation with a college boyfriend. He sat me down very seriously in his unfurnitured apartment living room to tell me he'd gotten another girl pregnant. I told him, "God, that's great! I'm gay." He was all excited, "Oh, that's great! That makes total sense."

So I guess when it came to experimenting on boys I was not very convincing.
