oh you can say more, i was asking the fav fav, i have more of course :)

you can post the lyric too

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
Ill be watching you

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
Ill be watching you

Oh, cant you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches
With every step you take

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
Ill be watching you

Since youve gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night I can only see your face
I look around but its you I cant replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace
I keep crying baby, baby, please...

Oh, cant you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches
With every breath you take

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
Ill be watching you

Every move you make
Every step you take
Ill be watching you

Ill be watching you
Ill be watching you
Ill be watching you
Ill be watching you...

Sorry for the inside joke. My father was a professional piano player and was classically trained. When he played music for us all we ever wanted to hear was Batman or The Bullfrog Song which later became Jerimah was a Bullfrog. But yes, I know that it's Joy to the World. It makes me smile to think of it.

My favorite song of all time is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (which most of us know from the film "The Wizard of Oz", where it originated). It's my favorite because I love Judy Garland's version, and pretty much every cover of it I've ever heard. Beautiful song. :)

Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon.

I don't know why exactly, but it's the only song I can listen to for hours on repeat and never get sick of.

He is everything you want
He is everything you need
He is everything inside of you that you wish you could be
He says all the right things
At exactly the right time
But he means nothing to you
And you don't know why

It might be the urge I get sometimes to scream "because she's a dyke!" that does it for me, but I'm not sure.
Everything you think you know, baby, is wrong.
And everything you think you had, baby, is gone.

Well, my current favorite song at the moment is the Michael Buble version of the classic song "Sway." It's a really sexy latin number with a great band backing it up. The original from 1954 was recorded by Dean Martin, and it was also covered recently by the Pussycat Dolls.

It's a longish song, so here are the first two stanzas:

When marimba rhythms start to play
Dance with me, make me sway
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore
Hold me close, sway me more

Like a flower bending in the breeze
Bend with me, sway with ease
When we dance you have a way with me
Stay with me, sway with me

Without getting into the jazz side of things which would send me off on a huge Billie Holiday tangent I'd have to say...

Looks Like Rain by the Grateful Dead...whch is also one of those reminds-me-of-Willow-and-Tara songs

Re: Fav song/how you feelling now song

Postby littlewicca » Thu Mar 29, 2007 7:25 pm

it could be cool to say in this moment how are you feeling and what song identify you more now

me

Coldplay Only Superstition Lyrics
A copperhead I see has found its way to me,

It's sound and it's sound and it's sound,

Making me cry.

I sleep but I will not move,

Too scared to leave my room,

But I won't be defeated, oh no.

What if cars don't go my way?

And it's sure to spoil my day.

But in voices loud and clear you say to me "it's only superstition.

It's only your imagination,

It's only all of the things that you fear and the things from which you can't escape."

Keep clean for the thousandth time,

Stand still and wait and line.

Some numbers are badder than others, oh no.

What if cars don't go my way?

And it's sure to spoil my day,

But in voices loud and clear you say to me "it's only superstition.

It's only your imagination,

It's only all of the things that you fear and the things from which you cannot expect."

But it's making me cry, and it's making me cry,

And I'm slipping away and I'm slipping away,

It's only superstition, only your imagination,

It's only superstition, only superstition.
