Made a decision lately? It could be about anything. Like you decided to you're going to have pizza instead of chinese, or something bigger then that!

For example, today I made the descion to instead have coffee, Ill have tea instead! :D

I made the decision on the weekend to sell my three year old laptop and buy a brand spanking new one!! Still pretty chuffed with this one (especially given that I am sitting typing away on my new lappy!)

I have a tricksy decision that I need to make shortly. It goes something like this:
My very wonderful neighbors are out of town and my wife and I are stopping in a couple times a day to feed their cats, take in the mail, water plants and whatnot. Prior to leaving on their vacation, the wonderful neighbors had a houseguest. The houseguest had been staying with them on weekends and a youth hostel during the week. The houseguest was supposed to go back to the hostel the day that they left for their vacation. However, he is still there. This is complicated by the fact that he speaks very very very little English and I speak absolutely no Japanese. I'm fairly certain that my wonderful neighbors do not want him staying in their home when they are not there, but I haven't been able to talk to them about it because there is no cell phone reception where they are. To try to kick the squatter out or Not to try to kick the squatter out? That is the question. I want to be a good care-taker of their home, but I also don't want to be rude and aggressive. Tricky situation, no? Wish me luck!

I decided today to park at a parking meter that was "FAILED" and wouldn't accept my money instead of driving around for another 15 minutes to find one that was free. I knew I was taking the risk of getting a ticket, and accepted the risk.

I chose to have a shower instead of a bath. Much cooler.

I decided to work really late (and I mean 11pm late) last night, just so I didn't have to go into the office today (the first day of my holiday).

And I decided to set up my own firm, so that when I do have to work late, it's for money that goes in my pocket, not someone else's.

i decided to resign from my job and take a nice little sabbatical leave to california for the next several months (six actually) to rest, help my mom out, and study for the bar. i handed in my resignation today and feel great about my decision (so far anyway). my boss told me i'd always have a job here, so i'd say it went well. i am going to miss my friends, my apartment (which i'm going to sublet) and my life here in western mass, but i just have to remind myself that this is for the best and only temporary.

well I have to decide something and I kinda did but........may be wrong.

look to sum up the story: I've just arrived from spending a week with my girlfriend who happens to live in the same city where my sister is working this summer.
I live 9 hours far from there and I rarely get to se my girlfriend 'because i've got no money and my parents don't usually allow me to travel there alone,

it was a surprise for my baby that my parents had bought me train bills to travel again at the end of this month, but a friend of mine, who's also very close to my sister is flying to that city, and she 's planed to stay in my sister's flat during 2 weeks. well this girl was given the money by her parents and it's all she had that she used to plan the trip. the problem is that my sister told me there was no problem with me staying at her flat but now we've found out that we both have the same arrangement and we can't stay all in the same flat. I haven't got any money. my parents payed me the train and I've got money enough just to eat during a week but I can't afford a hostal or anything.
I've phoned my sister to tell her that there's no problem, I won't go, so she can have her friend staying but my sister got very angry! she said that this friend of us told her that she'll visite her at the end of month but she didn't phone her to tell her when was she coming or anything so my sister thought that she hadn't bought the tikets yet. my sis says that there's no way that I let go an oportunity to see my girlfriend.
however I'm sorry that she (the friend) would have to spend a lot of money because of me.
on the other hand I only get to see my girlfriend twice....tre or four times a year and my sister says that's actually fair that I stay at her flat, because otherwise I could not go.

so, I'm sorry to give you such a borring speech but....do you guys think I should insist in not going and let our friend enjoy her trip?

PD- the worst of all the problem is that it was a surprise for my girlfriend....'because that week I'd stay with her will be kinda an aniversary.....and well she has guessed something was going on and I had to told her. and now there's no surprise because of the... F****kin' friend...:rage and now, just the idea of phoning my sweet girl to tell her hat I'm not going so...who knows when will we see each other again is making me sick.

hey Kivrin -

you shouldn't pass up the chance to see your girl, your parents have payed for the train fare and your only get to see her a few times a year so I don't think you should stay behind because a friend is also going to be there.

Go and worry about sleeping arrangements once you get there.

It will make your gf's month for you to be there I'm sure

Just my 2 cents

Kirvin I agree with bluebird. You should still go to see you girl. Sorting out where you all sleept should stop you.

I'm trying to decide if I should come out to my classmates.

some days ago my pair in chem lab. asked me if I was going out with someone. I said : I don't have a boyfriend. and it seemed to convince her but still...I feel guilty. she's cool, most of my classmates are so and I've been dating my girlfriend for more than a year...I guess I shouldn't be ashamed of who I am. then why did I decide to stay hidden in that moment? I could have just said: yeah, she's a gorgeous hacker would you like to see some pics? I have them on my purse.
however I didn't say it and I don'r think I'll do it. but why??? decisions suck :shy

i'd been wrestling with the whole thing for a while, but i just bought a laptop. my bar prep course is computer based, and the idea of sitting at my desk for the next four months whilst studying was just too awful to bear (plus my four-year-old desktop has been a little wonky for the past couple of months). i don't know a damn thing about computer components or specs, so i asked around and finally made a purchase on ebay today. money was my main concern, but i guess i did okay (according to the many people i consulted). i got a refurbished dell with a 60GB harddrive, a 1.8 ghz pentium m processor, 512 RAM, a dvd burner, 15 inch screen and some other stuff. that's okay right? i really don't want to regret this cause the $550 is going to be sorely missed.
