I'm a little bit hiding out in the bedroom at my in-laws'. I know we've only been here for 3 days (2 days?) but there are so many people and dogs!

Right now in the living room are
My wife's parents (2)
My wife's sister (1)
My wife's brother, his wife, their 2 kids (4)
My wife's nephew, his wife, their baby (3)
My wife and our two kids
That's 13 humans not including me.

13 dogs! 3 are ours.

I'm just overwhelmed.

Deb- I had to laugh at your post because you sound EXACTLY like Chris. She can only take so much before she retreats to our bedroom (completely overwhelmed) and hides out from the masses. Which is usually takes less than an hour with everyone to do the trick, lol.

*I had to work today, briefly and am heading home as soon as my camera cards are done uploading.

sounds delicious :)

I'm watching two broke girls and thinking about how much I have learnt this year and how far I have come as a person, although there has been heartbreak and loss for me on a profound and emotional level I am happy to know that I am a good person and that I have the courage and strength to not be defeated and to come out the other side. The new year is always a time for me to be thankful and reflect and thats just what I am doing.

I'm watching one of my dogs have what looks to be a pleasant dream. Usually, she jerks and barks, etc., but this time she is snoring her ass off, wagging her tail and 'smiling.' Did she get a good sniff? Maybe find a bevy of hidden bones? We'll never know...

I'm suppose to be working but Biggie Smalls is fucking with my head. I am dazed and trippin.

Hum? I wonder if I do what the South Park episode did when saying Biggie Smalls in the mirror 3 times he's gonna appear.

Been trying to set up the new printer. I can't get the network to see it. Our friend is going to loan me a different usb cable so I can try a different way tomorrow. Now I just need to put away all the stuff I was trying to do. I've had a productive day so far:

Gone for a walk.
Cleaned the kitchen
Ran the dishwasher
Changed 3 burned out lightbulbs (including climbing on a ladder which I hate)
Polished my shoes
Set up the printer even if I couldn't network it.

Trying to decide what to watch on telly, as I've lost the DVD I was watching last night and wanted to finish, and looking around the flat feeling a bit bummed at how messy it still looks after my roommate and I cleaned for nearly two hours straight.
