I used to think Condoms were sweets. Because they came in little pink boxes that said Strawberry Flavoured or Chocolate Flavoured on them XD

When I was a kid I thought I would always be innocent. Now that I'm older I realize I never truly had that innocence.

When I was a kid I was pretty much a boy minus the penis.

Now I'm scared of anything that's remotely insecty, a woose, can't watch scary films and actually consider dresses a valid clothing option.

What the fuck happened to me? :paranoid

When I was a kid, when our shitty black and white tv set broke, my father would say, Come on, let's have it fixed, it's like having a dead thing in the house. Before the Revolution, there was nothing to watch except communist propaganda and, on Sunday, some Romanian kid shows and Soviet cartoons that, as I found out later, kids in Mongolia also watched. After the Revolution, the tv craze erupted and a surging wave of tv channels swept everybody off their feet. So, like everybody else, I was a slave to television until I got into college and moved the hell out. Now my parents have 3 functioning tv sets and I have none. Romanian television is as bad as you can imagine, but it doesn't matter, little of it is actually Romanian anyway.
So I moved on, you can say, I'm a slave to the Internet now.

When I was a kid, I used to have a daydream ranch whereby I would bend bamboo shoots into two and walk with these by my side pretending they were my horses.

When I was a kid I'd spend hours and hours locked in my room daydreaming and reading. Or saving stray animals taking them home and feeding them trying to persuade my mum to let me keep them.
Be safe. Be happy. XxXxXx

When I was a kid I was prone to taking things apart to see how they were put together...I did this with all my Mother's old bowling trophies and reassembled them in ways that were more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion...as you can imagine, this habit often got me in trouble...some people just don't know art when they see it :sigh

When I was a kid I could spin around and around ridiculously fast, and it was just the most fun thing in the world! Now more than a little spinning makes me nauseous.

When I was a kid, I didn't like girls. I thought they were all whiney and stupid (all of 'em except me, of course).

Now, I like girls. A lot. They're still mostly whiney, but they feel good, so there ya go.

When I was a kid… well I’m only 18 so most people don’t consider me that far from being a kid…

Although when one of the kids I baby-sit told me that I was a grown up I firmly protested!

But kids would watch The Little Mermaid before watching The Little Mermaid three. And there were the classic movies not their fifth continuation… except for Aladin.

When I was a kid, I thought when someone bleached their hair they actually used bleach, like clorox. So I'm thirteen, the garage, soaking my hair in a bucket of clorox and gagging from the smell.

When I was a kid I was told I would never have big breasts because I refused to drink Chicory...
Now some gives my the very bad nick name of "big pulmons"... :happy
And my back protests. No I don't have that much of breasts, but it is generous.

When I was a kid and the steam would rise off the ground after heavy rain in summer I used to think it was the devil trying to get out of hell.

I also used to think that when water had mixed with oil slicks on the road that these were dead rainbows. That always made me sad.

So true umgaynow, I love reading it as well.

When I was a kid, I used to love tagging along and helping my grandfather trim the hedges of our yard. He was pretty good at unnatural shaping and we would share a good laugh over that. Now that I'm grown-up, the hedges have been replaced by modern brick walls but on sunny days, I sometimes find myself wishing these moments could be relived again when I could pick up a pair of shears and clumsily set to work.
