My own mistake but: Don't advertise things in your local news paper.
“....and that is why you don't run.”

"Who gets the toaster for that one?"

Once last year, I had to do that to my computer. It was, like, 2 a.m. and I had been watching one DVD and wanted to watch a scene from another before I headed off to bed. Well, something about that idea must have made my laptop angry, because when I switched the DVDs it went completely wonky. This startled me for two reasons: 1) my computer has been brilliant to me since I got it and barely had a single problem; and 2) I couldn't fix it. After worrying over it for some time, I decided to simply go to bed and let it sit in its disturbingly damaged state until the next morning, knowing that for sure the battery would have died out by then. It did, and when I put the laptop on the charger and, ten minutes later, turned it on, it worked perfectly. As though the whole thing had never happened.

I love my computer.

Ellie: God, why are you such a pessimist?

Never put tiger balm on an open wound.
"And beyond the Wild Wood?" asked the Mole.
"The Wide World," said the Rat. "And that doesn't matter."
