The number of registered users has just reached 1,000

We've still got a way to go before we reach the numbers that we had at EZ Board but I think it's great that the new board has been adopted so quickly.

Here's some of the reasons why I think it's still so popular

Willow and Tara are so wonderful that you can't help but love a place that's dedicated to them

Everyone here is so friendly. Whilst on rare occasions the debates get a bit tense you never see anyone being deliberately nastly (though that may be due to the work of the moderators)

People are constantly looking for ways to improve the board, such as the beta pens. Rather than stagnating this board is constantly evolving and improving.

So three cheers for creating such a great site.

Oh cool, I noticed we were steadily moving towards a 1000 members. I never expected that after we moved. I know we had like 4400 registered members at EZboard, but there were spammers and double IDs in there and also people who used to just pop in because once upon a time we had fresh spoilers.
The number we have now is one that properly shows how many people still care enough about WT and this board to go online to read about them and also because of the rest of this board of course. Amazing really considering it has been a while since the WT last kissed on screen. I think we owe a lot to the wonderful authors on Pens who keep writing the stories that keep WT alive. Kudos to them and every kitten that keeps the board going by reading it and posting.

I'm glad there are still so many people who love the witchy duo. They were classic, and shall never be forgotten! Wai!

Seriously. I'm going to have children and make them watch every freakin' episode. S4 and S5 especially. ^^.

Yeah, I keep meaning to visit Pens more often but never seem to get round to it. I really must make the effort. I want more WT.

I've been visiting a board for another TV show for the last few months and have really been shocked by the amount of abuse they throw at each other. I expected it to be similar to this board but boy was I wrong. My thanks to the mods for keeping the Kitten Board so friendly.

Anyways, I believe that this forum is doing quite well, but I must warn you of impending doom. I've noticed a lot of patterns in forums where they have a big boom to start off with, but die out when they hit 5k members and only the hardcore cool people actually show up.
Like us.

Denkyu.com is a perfect example. They rocked the net for a few years, and now (the forums at least) are dying out like old cheese in sunlight. It's sickening. >>;;;

Well, we´ve have been around for 5 years now, so if any doom were to impend, it would have happened by now. It is less insanely busy than it was 3 years ago with all the spoiler madness, but I much prefer it this way.

We're maybe a bit less than when the show was still on tv but I do believe that we are more engaged than before. When I come here, I feel I'm not alone, it may sounds silly to some of you but I feel like we're a family...maybe because mine is kinda non existant but still!

The ambiance is really great and I know that a lot of wonderful friendships and some love stories also were born on this board! So lets celebrate and wish for many more to come.

A thousand members is so amazing to me. I really didn't think there would be that many when we moved over from ezboard. I figured a couple hundred tops.

I think the appeal of W/T is our biggest reason for not only still existing, but actually thriving. A lot of people have come to W/T only through the DVDs or word-of-mouth. But also, over the years, we've become more than just a place for W/T stuff - we've become a true community of friends, talking about a wide variety of different topics. We don't all get along all the time, of course, but we always treat each other with respect. Everyone here knows that there will be no heaping of abuse.
