Just checking to see if this one works like it's supposed to. Now if I could figure out how to make those oh-so-clever rotating gifs I'd be quite pleased with myself. Duncan'd be happier too, since I'd be able to rotate him and Methos together. Not that they don't already spend half of their time rotating on my couch/the floor/up against the wall/and on the kitchen table anyway... Sigh, damned horny muses.



Urg -- the proportions don't look right. I know I constrained them when I made the image smaller in Photoshop, so whyfor are they all squishy now? Urm, help? Any ideas?



Edited to add: I'm willing to pay money, PalPay seems the easiest way, although I'm open to suggestion, to anyone of you talented kittens who'll make one of those nifty rotating gifs for me. does anyone know if it works from angelfire?

cos i have a site there and i tried uploading an avatar for someone but it didn't seem to work.

so does it NOT work cos angelfire dosen't allow it, or am i just stupid.

Ok, here's a question for the people who have been making the animated gifs.

I've got 16 jpgs, 72 dpi and 60 pixels that I'd like to string together. Does that sound doable?

Any suggestions for a freeware program that'll help me with that?

And then I'll have to figure out the hosting stuff.

Cicca, your images sound fine, I do not know of any good freeware programs. I use Ulead GIF Animator 5, which you can get a trial version of, probably good enough unless you plan on changing your avatar often.

If you use ulead it's pretty simple to work, I recommend a 2 second delay between images.

I think you really need at least a 1.5 or 2 second delay between frames - otherwise I think they're a bit too distracting.
