Scifi showing Intermedio on Saturday 21st (with Amber!)

Postby TaraLivesOn » Sun Oct 15, 2006 9:45 am

I just saw an advert on Scifi channel for Intermedio!
http://www.scifi.com/onair/movies/
It's under featured movies.
9pm EST / 8 CST
http://www.theasylum.cc/Pages/features/ ... medio.html

(rummages around for Intermedio screenshots)

ps. isn't this the one where Amber broke her foot for real and so they rewrote the script or something like that...

YAY they're finally showing this on tv! Of course they show it when i already bought the movie :( oh well.. ima watch it anyway just cause of amber.

and yes this is the movie where she broke her leg for real. In the dvd commentary, the director said throughout the film he was concerned for amber and making sure she was alright. poor amber.

Amber is the only woman I know who made crutches look sexy with her hobbly goodness and yummy bare thighs.

Yes, Amber's foot is broken for real...but she didn't break it making the movie...she broke it trying to move a bucket of dirt some contractors left as I recall...and what was that comment about crutches and lovely bare thighs? Are there pictures someplace that I missed?

Yeah, about that.
Amber made crutches and the boot look sexy in the film with her hobbly goodness and she appeared at a convention in Germany, I think it was, around the same time and the photos someone posted of her onstage with her thigh stretched out across a chair gave her a langorous reclining on a chaise longue sort of look.
The lovely bare thighs is straight out of my fevered imagination or a freeze-frame from the silk sheets in she and Willow's bedroom.

Just finished watching. Not happy about what happened to Amber's character. She keeps playing likable roles which have bad things happen to them.

Intermedio was fair for an independent movie with no budget. Storywise, Amber's "Chance" did a better job of connecting me with the characters emotionally.

Saw it as well, and not to put too kind a word on it, that has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Notwithstanding Amber, which is the only reason to ever see it again. The storyline made no sense; the characters acted stupidly, and most of them could not act to save their lives, And what has happened with Edward Furlong? Holy moly!

Egads that was horrible. Poor Amber. I kept thinking of Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood, stuck playing a horrible role. (That's Bela stuck playing the horrible role, not Martin.)

The only good thing about the movie was that Amber got killed off less than halfway through it, so I didn't have to watch the rest. :lol Did her ghost come back later or something?
Now there's something you don't see every day... unless you're us...

Well, I was already planning to just ff to the Amber bits (sigh - if only) that's why I recorded it instead of watching...that and being able to keep the Amber-y goodness in the badness to watch whenever I want...it wouldn't be the first Amber movie I have that I wouldn't normally watch...anyway I'm way too much of a to watch a horror flick all the way through good or bad...I got my fill in high school watching all the "dead teenager" movies at the drive-in (Halloween etc.) when they first came out...speaking of coming out...all time favorite cheezy drive-in horror flick Slumber Party Massacre with a script by Rita Mae Brown

I have to agree with the negative comments that everyone has posted. I couldn't watch the whole thing. I think Edward Furlong must have been smoking the weed that they bought in the early moments of the movie. Or else he's just fried for real.

On the other hand, our girl was there, looking fine as ever. It's always great to see her, regardless of the flick.

Two things:

a) Amber is really a trouper, hobbling around those caves on the crutches with a broken foot. Of course, I do have to give props to the producers, not only for asking Amber in the first place, but also for not withdrawing when they learned of her broken foot.

b) I sure as hell hope Amber cashed the check as soon as she got home. What a stinkburger of a movie. I'm glad I didn't even pay half-price for this godawful steaming pile. After Amber gets the big hemicorporectomy, I'd would have walked out if I saw on a airplane.

More apt the case, since he has the bad boy image of a real boozer and druggie. I read somewhere that he dated Paris Hilton once. I guess thats what she found so appealing about him.
As for Amber, she looked great but the movie was beyond unwatchable. But hey, we all have to pay the bills.

I will never get that two hours of my life back again. What a hideous piece of crap. If you really need an Amber fix, watch about the first ten minutes. After they leave the house, there's really no point in watching any further.

They've been showing it on the Zone Horror channel here in the UK. Except for some reason it's called "Dead and Dying". It really wasn't a great movie but it was nice to see Amber.

If you live in the United States... the Sci-Fi Channel has Intermedio listed to play January 14, 2007 @ 1:00 pm and again on February 3, 2007 @ 11:00am

Gryphon will also premier on Sci-Fi on January 27, 2007 @ 9:00 pm and will air again at 1:00 am. If you miss both of these or forgot to set your DVR, you can catch it again on February 1st @ 9:00 pm.

Woo and hoo... the week of my birthday will be spent watching Sci-Fi...lol

Ahh... the things we say when we're dumbfounded...
Amber: "Hi I'm Amber... and this is (referring to Adam Busch)...

Me: "I know who he is... (scowling) He's the guy who killed your character."

Amber stifling a chuckle: "This is Adam."

True. That also was the only reason I bought the DVD, to see Amber.
