Amber at Collectormania 10

I didn't see a thread with this in it, but apologies if this has already been mentioned. I just had a look at the Collectormania site and apparently Amber is scheduled to appear for the full 3 days at the mkcentre Milton Keynes between Friday 29th September - Sunday 1st October. Entry is free but there is a charge for the autographs. Juliet Landau aka Drusilla is also scheduled to appear. More details can be found here:

i go to collectormania twice a year religiously anyway cos its not far from me but i'm DEFINITELY going now!!!! yay i get to meet the delicious amber again!! i'm wondering if she'll sign my picture like last time, dont think she could top that! *explains* i went to see her at the raddison edwardian hotel in heathrow, london a few years ago and you could take 1 item for her to sign personally for you. i chose a lovely photo of her in a black lacy bra http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c346/SpikesPet29/Amber%20Benson/BlackBra.jpg
when she looked at it she was like oh no that looks awful. so i said that she looked pretty good from where i was standing! so she signed my picture "to Kim this bust is for you! love amber" she is sooo cool!!
if you ever get the chance to chat to her mum (if she's there) then do it. she made me laugh and shes the sweetest woman you could ever meet.

Well, I'll be going. My friend and I are going on the Sunday cos she has ordered the photo of Adam Baldwin so I'm actually going to meet Amber on my 35th birthday, so I can't believe the treat.

Ah... I JUST read this topic (after much looking for my old kittenboard account thingy, i had to register again...) I want to go, but all the hotels seem to be booked fully... PLUS I don't get paid till the 29th itself, so.. Anyone got ideas for hotels maybe?! I'd be grateful Very

Thanks for that KYO! I had booked to stay over Fri night when it said Amber would be appearing all days, but thankfully I've been able to cancel and re-book at no extra charge. I'm so glad I checked back - I can't imagine my horror if I turned up on Sat and Amber wasn't there...

Well I went to Collectormania yesterday for my birthday and to meet Amber.

First time we met her I bought 2 autographs so she could sign both my GoA books. I told her it was my birthday and she happily signed "Happy Birthday" in my copy of "Accursed". She also wished me happy birthday and posed for a photo with me.

About an hour later I went back for another one, on a Tara pic, and mentioned a charity auction I was collecting items for and she put 2 and 2 together and realised who I was and I got a wonderful smile, That smile made my day.

She was lovely both times. My only regret is that I never really had the time, nor the nerve, to tell her how much of a role model she is and how much she and her Mum have helped me through some tough times. One day I hope to tell her.

Hi Folks
New here, I was lucky enough to meet the wonderful Amber Benson at collectomania. I know that so many people have said this before but she was so fanatastic to everyone she meet that day. I was incredibley nervous but had a photo taken with her and saw her later that day for an autograph and she remembered me from earlier! Everything I had heard about her and hoped for was true. She was so charming.
I am still and always will be enamored of Amber Benson.
Anyway enough ramabling
