Postby Flip18 » Thu Oct 16, 2003 2:06 am

"OK It's official the Simply Amber Tour will go ahead as planned.

Starting in London on Nov 28th Amber will be making a host of appearances up to the 18th of Dec.

Locations will be announced in a couple of days (Sorry Expo is this weekend very busy).

The tour will be a mixture of events and signings, Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff, Swindon, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow are a few of the locations being confirmed. An event WILL take place in Germany.

All details VERY soon.

Wolf "

As for people not having confirmation for tickets, your best bet would be to go and ask at their boards to be honest (http://www.wolfevents.net)They have said they are busy getting ready for their big Expo event this weekend so you may have to wait a little while tho.

They've announced the venue - Radisson Edwardian.

Also said that Amber will be appearing both days at the Memorabilia show at the Birmingham NEC November 29-30th. Which is good news for me as I was calling in there on the Sunday!

Yes ! ...I got my confirmation today :banana That hotel venue is way out at Heathrow Airport..which is a bit of a bummer... what with an 11pm finish - I just know I'll miss the last train home. Looks like a weekend in London could be on the cards. :)

Postby willowsgirl » Thu Oct 23, 2003 3:31 am

dammit, how did I miss this?! Dont suppose any of you uk kittens wanna pass on a hello, cos I wont be going :(

lol

Lilac- The coach from Birmingham to London will take absolutely ages, it takes nearly 2 hours from canterbury (where I live) and thats like 50 miles. The train's sooooooo jmuch quicker! Hmmm, do you have a rail card? cos if you do you'd be better off with the train. Then again, if you booked your train ticket now, in advance, it would be a lot cheaper anyway. Alot of it depends on what time you wanna get the train too, cos certain times (busy ones) are more expensive. I reckon it'd cost about 20 quid, somethin like that. Id say go with the train!

Laika- Yeah, go with the stay in london part, always much more fun!! Im sure that as you live so close you'll have someone to stay with, he he. I know I would if I had the chance. AARGH still cant believe Ambers gonna be there and Im gonna miss it :lol

No worries lilac!

I hope you have a good time :)

I know how scary travelling on your own can be, I do it everytime I go home from uni, and that is one long journey!

If you get the chance, tell Amber 'hi!' from stacey ;)

Hey Willowsgirl (S.L.A.G !) That is bad news ....why can't you go ? I've been offered some accomodation by a v.kind Kitten....in exchange for redecoratiing the whole house or something like that - you are psychic !!! We will say Hi to Amber for you, if we get the chance. I will also say hello to Canterbury cathedral for you in a week or so...do you know where abouts the Green Man in the crypt is ?

Hey Laika, where do you get off calling me a S.L.A.G? LMAO :lol

I cant go cos...no ticket, no money (Im a scrounging student!) and too much uni work :(

So Canterbury in a week? Sounds good 2 me!

The green man in the crypt...rings a bell, but cant quite place it. Bear it in mind that I left school 3 yrs ago ( Im nearly 21!), and so I havent been in there since- used to go there every school yr. Guess you'll have 2 tell me ;)

*TANTRUM WARNING*

It's soooooooooooooo unfair!!!!

I realise I sound like kevin the teenager, but Id do anything to go to the London convention, its not like its that far and the coach's in november are a tenner anywhere. Why oh why does all my uni work have tobe in then?? Myabe I can get extenuating circumstances?

Dear sir/madam,

I am applying for an extension on my coursework due dates, as I MUST go to London and see the stunningly gorgeous and talented goddess that is Amber Benson....

I cant see it working, can you?

All of you, have a really great time! Oh and Laika- a meeting in canterbury sounds good 2 me!

BBC Wiltshire interview

Quote:
Send in your questions for Amber Benson

Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer alias actress Amber Benson is coming to Swindon for an in-store signing. Send in your questions for her!

Meanwhile, fans of cult TV show Buffy The Vampire Slayer will get the chance to meet actress Amber Benson who played Tara when she appears at Infinitely Better for a signing on Thursday 4th December.

Amber appeared in two seasons of Buffy and her character bucked straight-laced mainstream US TV trends by enjoying a lesbian affair with the character of Willow played by Alyson Hannigan.

Tara was eventually killed off in the episode 'Seeing Red' at the end of Buffy's sixth season.

BBC Wiltshire will be interviewing Amber Benson at the signing and want fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to send in questions for her. The interview will appear here in streaming Real Audio shortly after their appearance. Use the form below to send in your question.

I'm away that weekend so I hope it stays online for at least a week.

I entrust all the kittens who will be seeing Amber with a very, very important task.

Firstly, have a wonderful time basking in the light that is Amber Benson.

Secondly, you are required to give Amber a hug from all of her Australian fans, especially yours truly.

I know the second one is a big ask I mean who wants to be up close and personal with Amber (you all know I'm jumping up and down waving my arms yelling ME right?)!!

And remember, try not to drool too much when you see her because if you all drool you might drown the poor girl.

Amber visiting Down Under..??

Postby Bones98 » Mon Nov 24, 2003 6:55 am

Hi WillowPowered and other fellow Aussies...:)

I know that several respectable Convention-companies in Australia have made "Letters of Offer" to Amber, so I think it simply comes down to Amber finding time to give far-enough advance that she can commit without dissappointing anyone if Amber had to cancel ..... and the other reason -- distance.

Amber has mentioned she isn't keen on flying -- and as I travel to the USA once-a-year from Oz, I have to agree with her.....

Having met her myself, I know she would sell out any convention(s) she did in Oz......:) :)

........Um OK....Back to the current European tour Topic....:)
