Okay, so I took this boards advice and rented Taboo last night. I had two reactions. 1)Amber... wow... drunk... slip... shower... Amber... I yeah... uh... heh. And 2) I think that that was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. Not because it was supposed to be funny, but because it was. The bad dialogue, bad acting, and horrid horrid camera angles and editing. It was fun watching Taboo like its fun watching Friday the 13th. If Amber hadnt been in it, I never would have seen it. But I think I'll end up buying it at some point. Amber was wonderful in it and, heck, it'll be fun just to watch and laugh at. Dog collar... wow... I uh... yeah.

But you see how she gets killed rather than her getting killed if you know what I mean... You see the killer's movements but not her. Oh, like... you don't see her lying in her own blood for 40 minutes...

I just saw it and this was one bad movie, right up there with Aly's BTCL, or should I say right at the bottom.



The only good part, was of course Amber, she was sooo cute

Just wanted to let the know that I found Taboo playing on Direct TV (on the pay per view channel 182). You have to buy the movie for $3.99, but for Amber (even if the movie itself is a dud... to see Amber all sexy as a drunk) I think I can make the sacrifice . By the way the movie is running throughout the day, and it appears to be available for some time on Direct TV.

Well, even though I thought the movie pretty much sucked, except for Amber's parts, I went ahead and bought this today.



Amber was great!! Then again, she always is.



Hee... Amber saying the word, "fuck," was pretty damn sexy!! Don't know why, it was just... and worthy!

saw it. Amber was so good in it. The rest were too bad.

I love its idea though. It could be a lot better with better writing. I mean I actually like the beginning of it. when the past come back to haunted them. But the rest is too bad.Lack of charecters' background and all...ah..well.

Okay, so I'm probably a bit late, but I finally saw the movie. I watched it with my sister and brother-in-law, so I had to wipe the from my face, as subtle as possible.

The main character(forgot her name...not sure if it's even worth uttering), was too damn whiney for me...she should've been the first one to go. The final twist was good, but I kinda saw it coming. Overall, I'd only buy the movie for Amber because she's , and oh yeah..

I finally got to see Taboo last night. I think everyone has pretty much summed it up already.



Mind you, Amber is just amazing in it. It really shows what a talented actress she is. As much as I love Tara, I do like to see Amber in different roles as well. Here's hoping that she will soon get some starring roles in some better movies.



One other thing; I really liked the music in the opening and end credits. I thought it would be a good theme for Tara and/or a Willow/Tara spin-off. What do you think?

I brought this film yesterday, and I actually quite liked it Or, I did until it just got silly...can anyone tell me what Christian?'s motive is for any of it, cos I just cant see it.

Those of you who haven't seen Taboo, if you don't want to get spoiled or.. I don't know...want to watch it for yourself don't read this!! I don't want to "spoil" anyone.



During Amber's extraordinary sexy scene with January Jones (Elizabeth), there are people bumping head boards in the backround. Did we ever find out who that was exactly and what purpose that was supposed to serve? I was in the mood so I popped in the DVD and the question just occurred to me. Any ideas?

i thought this movie had a good plot idea, but a horrible take at it. Most of teh acting wasn't good, and teh script was downplayed a lot. Even amber said this was one of her 'bad decisions' in being an actor. It could have been better, but it left me very confused and dissapointed, I loved seeing a drunk Amber though it was funny, and she was entertaining in it.

OK Aussie Kitties, I just checked out my local Video Ezy store and Taboo will be available for rental on June 11th (which is tomorrow) and it can be purchased from Ezy DVD right now. :)



Edited to add: Just got my region 4 copy of Taboo and they have put Amber on the front and back cover this time. Will upload a scan of it to my site later, along with some screen caps
