BBC is not likely to start screening Buffy S6 until August/Sept 2002 whilst the US willbe just about to start S7 then, which would have made the continuity with Ripper problematic as the Beeb are unlikely to sell their own program to Sky and US before showing it themselves. Thought direct linkage is likely to be avoided I would think that what you will see instead might be that the BBC gets in synch with itself (should the rumoured mini-series emerge from the pilot) and that the US will have to suffer the time-difference. Either that or Ripper will sit "out of time" and visiting characters will not be "absent" from Buffy or Angel or mention be made of it in those series.Just a humble few thoughts which Joss will no doubt prove wrong with a typical burst of genius.
