will reminds me so much of me...and always has...through all her changes and my own...and tara is, of course, beautiful, but also, the growth and depth that the writers have given to tara, and that amber has put into her performance, make her one of the most real and powerful characters ever...and their love is so real...and like so many portrayals of lesbian romance fail to acknowledge...developed out of friendship into something deeper and more beautiful each day...i know that feeling...

What about Aly? Aly is just as gorgeous as Amber, IMO. Anyway...I love them because their relationship is the best I've ever seen...TV or movies. They're truly in love, and it's just incredible watching them. Aly and Amber have great chemistry...and, of course, they're both the sexiest women ever.

Because they are one of the most realistically in love couples on television right now. You feel the love between these characters. It doesn't just feel like a role that two actors are playing it feels as though we get to catch glimpses of their souls.
And now that I'm done being all mushy I also want to add that I also love them because, like Ruth said, they're hot.

I love that they are not portrayed/defined only by the fact that they are a 'gay couple' like it's some kind of cause. They are shown simply as two people in love. The fact that they are in love is so natural, the way it is in real life between two women. It's not some kind of after-school special, experimental, phase thing. For what it's worth, I like W/T for the subtleties in their relationship. It's rare to see a functional, loving, deep homosexual relationship. Like others have said, they are like the ideal for everyone and anyone that has, or wishes to have, a love like theirs. *shrug* Sometimes it seems almost unattainable, too good to be true. However, that being said, W/T's relationship offers hope, in some form or other. Even though I tend to be a very pessimistic person by nature (which was not always so), they give me hope. And that, I think is a little something that we all need more of.

#1 top of my list is definitely the chemistry between the two actresses. Amber and Aly ROCK!
#2 that the writers/producers recognized their chemistry and TPTB were brave enough to take a chance to develop the storyline.
#3 the fact that this is the only long-term lesbian relationship on network TV (QAF on Showtime not the same because it's paid)
#4 that Joss & Co. developed the relationship naturally and have shown us the "course of true love" - W/T are FOREVER!
#5 as it relates to Scoobies, the W/T relationship is shown as equal to if not stronger than their hetero counterparts.
#6 that ME has never tried to sensationalize W/T or use W/T to get ratings; I admire what Joss has said about W/T in press releases
#7 so many great screen moments over the past two and a half seasons; the romance and sparks literally jump off the screen.

Also, I've gotta say that my fave Season 6 moment so far is the Tabula Rasa almost-kiss...you could just feel how powerful the love between W/T is. And I like how the writers had W/T find each other even though their memories had been "erased"

Because Willow has been my favorite character since day 1, and I've always liked seeing her in love.

Also, Tara's character has fascinated me from the beginning-it was quite obvious there was more to her than met the eye. I really enjoyed their develloping relationship during S4, and by NMR, I had become a W/T shipper without even realising it! I became more and more obsessed during S5, and my favorite W/T episode is Tough Love (Yes,I know-heavy on the angst, but when Willow ran to Tara in the Fair I was in tears, and during her attack on Glory I got goosebumps).

1/ Personally I think Amber and Aly have a great on screen chemisty that just glows when they are together.

2/ Amber has the best bedroom eyes every and one hell of a wicked grin.

3/ I think Tara is more then she seems and is with the scoobies and Willow for a reason.

4/ There just a very cute couple and I love the show for it.

5/ Tara and Willow moments leave you feeling warm and loved. I know I Love there snuggles
