On the film side, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" led the nominations with nine nods, including best fantasy film, while New Line's "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" tied the French film, "Brotherhood of the Wolf" with eight nods each, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile "Buffy" stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, James Marsters and Michelle Trachtenberg all received recognition, while fellow UPN series "Enterprise" earned nods for its actors Scott Bakula, Connor Trinneer and Jolene Blalock.
Steven Spielberg's "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" received seven nominations, including best science fiction film.
The Saturn awards will be presented in June in Century City. During the event, Paramount chairman Sherry Lansing will be presented with the Dr. Donald A. Reed Award for her dedication to feature filmmaking.
