*Possible Spoilers Below if people here watch it*
omg. I'm watching it now, and it's an episode from either 2001 or this year. (In Australia, the show has been screening at about 2pm in the afternoon on Channel 7. I only started watching it a little while back).
This show is unbelievable - so gritty and dramatic. Perhaps you could most liken it to being a British ER.
Now to the reason I'm posting: I suspected something was going to happen between the female doctor, Dr. Alex Redman (Maggie O'Neill), and the new nurse Claire Brightwell (Eva Pope). And it did, today they kissed! I even managed to record it as a clip (I clicked record just in time when I realised what was going to happen).
The episode basically involved the two women being lost during a hike or something (sorry, but I missed the very beginning), and Alex needed to comfort Claire about a past incident in her nursing career. There was a sympathetic embrace between the close friends, but it soon turned into a kiss initiated by Claire.
However, just as this was happening their predicament took a turn for the worse as they saw an approaching military helicopter, and they realised the craft was heading toward them too low...
As they dived out of the way, it then crashed into the hills nearby, and they both hurried to try and rescue the soldiers on board.
What followed was truly horrific and gripping, as they had no medical supplies to use, and the men's injuries were really terrible.
But where it leaves the two women, I am not sure, except that there was that kiss...
If anyone else knows more about this show, then please reply As I said, I am not sure if anyone watches Peak Practice, or whether we are just too far behind here in Australia (we usually are). But going from the fact that according to IMDB.com Claire only joined the show in 2001 (series 12), it can't be too old.
