Alyson and charity

Last Saturday, Aly and several other actors took part in the 1st Annual Celebrity Dodgeball Tournament, raising more than $90,000 for an AIDS charity organization. Seth Green and Nicholas Brendon were there too.

Aly was very excited about it and said she loves dodgeball. She played really well, being the last one of her team to leave the game.

I saw a wildfeed of it with the highlights of the event. She was looking great (big news, uh? :-) ) and it was very cool to watch her playing and having so much fun.

In her interview, she also pointed out the importance of actors' participation in this kind of event, saying that they should do everything they can to help.

Our lovely Aly rocks! :-) But then, we knew that since forever...

I didn't see on the net. Since there were lots of actors there, we had to take it down at work from C-Band.

I made a VHS copy for myself with Aly's moments (it's very short, less than 3 min). It'll probably be one of the things I'll upload to my website as soon as I get a video capture card. I'm working on it... :-)

So many things to do, so little time... *sigh*

Aly is such a great person! and how cool is it that she was the last man standing on her team! I'm so glad that she participates in great things like this. Go get your video capture card so we could see Aly in action!

But honestly, how can anyone love dodgeball??? My attitude toward this "game" is best exemplified by its depiction in "The Pack" .

No problem for both. The interview is less than a minute and I'll transcribe tonight, the rest of the tape is B-Roll with the actors playing dodgeball. I found another tape today and it has, at least, a couple of minutes with new footage from Aly's game. Especially the end of it when she's by herself against 5 on the other side. Soooo cute! :-)

The TV Guide Channel is going to show a couple of bites from this event on Saturday in its "Hollywood Insider" segment (at the top of the hour all day long). I don't know if they're going to select anything with Aly on it, but it's worth a try.
