I'm anxiously awaiting its release. I thought I read that they were going to be trying hard to catch the US up with the rest of the world now that BtVS has aired in syndication (which was the legal holdup). I expect S3 will come out for the holidays and S4 in the first half of 2003? I can't wait!

if you mean the christmas holidays, i would think season three would be out sooner than that. didn't season one come out in january? it looks like they're skipping one month in between release months. maybe this means season 3 will be out in may sometime, season 4 in july, and season 5 in september.

Actually, Season Two isn't coming out until June 11th. I think they're skipping 6 months in between. So yeah, Season three around the holidays sounds just about right.

Wow, if Season 2 will not be coming out until June, that's an awfully long time away to preorder. Of course, I'll be doing it anyway.

I can't decide if it makes more sense for them to make us wait by releasing them every 6 months, or if it would be better if they released them faster. Personally, with all the episodes already having been shown on FX, and all the season released on DVD overseas already, I would think they would want to release them faster. This is probably why I'm not a marketing major though.

I don't know, but to me that sounds like they split the season DVD boxsets overseas into two parts, as they did in Germany. If not, then you guys are damn lucky! But when I placed my preorder for the season 2 boxset -and it said a price of about 50$ too- I was as amazed of the cheapness of the DVDs. But as I finally got them they turned out to be only half the season.

And that was I majot disappoinment, because the last two episodes in the first season 2 box are Ted and Bad Eggs, and so the second season 2 boxset started with Surprise. See.. major disappointment.

But I keep my fingers crossed for you all that it doesn't turn out that way!

buffydvd.com just says June, 2002 -- I can't wait!! If the cost wasn't so much, I'd have ordered the UK versions by now. Its not fair that they are already into Season 3 or 4.
